I'm going!!! (hopefully!) :D I don't know much about Tower City, but I heard the entire venue is general admission....hope that helps!

I got on the website and it looks very cool like I said. I also heard the venue was g.a. , I'm not sure how I feel about that ........

It might be pretty cool in the sense that you don't have worry about getting good seating. I've never been to an all g.a. show before...

Did you get your tickets yet?

  • Author

No, I have'nt gotten my tickets ....can't get my friend to commit for sure to going just yet , but the place looks awesome like I said.

I think I really don't mind g.a outside , but I just wonder how early we'll have to line up and if it will be under control or a mass chaos dash to the stage once they open the gates.......I'm 30 , so I worry about these type of things now ....lol

I'm going to be there. I'm so excited. I just saw them here in Columbus three weeks ago and had a blast. It was General Admission but I found it to be pretty cool b/c I got really, really close to the stage. Then again, I kinda earned it because I got there around two in the afternoon and stood out in the freezing cold until they opened the doors at 7. Well worth it though.

It shouldn't be so bad waiting in June, though, since it will be warmer.

Coldplay In Cleveland

Whoever is concerned about Tower City Amphitheater......

It is a fantastic place to see a concert. I am from Cleveland. Coldplay is going to be great at Tower City.

I got my tickets today!

Will anyone else be going?

Well I still fully intend on going...theres this little problem tho...I can't talk any of my friends into going , and I'm in Cincinnati ,and not too keen on being in Cleveland on my own , so we'll see what happens *crosses fingers and prays*

I've been in that situation. I finally covinced someone to come, but I had to pay for their ticket.

But... Good Luck! I hope you find someone b/c the concert experience is much better w/ a friend, (even if they don't like the band.)

There is actually going to be a BUTTLOAD of U2 fans in Cleveland that week -- I'm talking hundreds on the weekend. And a bunch of us decided to come in early for the Coldplay gig! Lots of us U2 fans are Coldplay fans, too. Some of my friends in LA just saw them at the Hollywood Bowl and they have been RAVING for two days!! They are saying it was AMAZING!! I am SO psyched.

My friends and I are going to be getting in the GA line early tuesday morning. Is that early enough? This is my first time doing the GA line thing so I am kinda flying by the seat of my pants, here. Any advice would be much appreaciated! My friend is bringing a beach ball, so just look for the group of U2 freaks with the beach ball!! heehee.

U2Norton I'm assuming you are going to be participating in all the events that weekend...Have you seen the Cleveland site yet? If not, here it is:

Anyone else who is going to be in Cleveland that weekend is welcome to join us, even if you're not a huge U2 fan. I went last time and everyone was just, like, SO cool and so open and friendly. We're going to Cedar Point that following Sunday (the 15th) and anyone and everyone is welcome to come along! The more the merrier! :D

Ohmigosh I am so PSYCHED ! ! ! ! !

It's also a brand new building as I understand it. And loads of shopping!

I am not sure what we're going to do afterwards, but I want to check out the Mercury Lounge. I hear it's pretty cool.

Dude, what do all these buttons do? ::messes around::

Ooooooh! Awesome! I assume you'll be going to the Fan Celebration Weekend? Hopefully I will be too, (if I can drag some people along with me) I haven't seen the exhibit yet and I'm so excited!

I'll be in line early too. I can't wait!

Don't worry about bringing someone along -- just come! Everyone is so cool and open you won't feel alone or anything. Most of us are staying either at the hyatt or the Holiday inn Select.

Man, it is so cool how many Coldplay fans are also U2 fans and vise versa. :)

I can't believe its in a week!! I've had my tickets for so long, I'm surprised that I still know where they are!

So what time are guys going to get there? I want to get there early Tuesday morning, too, but my friends might be a little hard to convince. I guess I'll have to get down on my knees and plead. Getting there early is better that getting there too late. :D

It be cool to meet up. Camping out at concerts is always fun and I've always enjoyed it much more when I meet people there. You become this little family for the day.

I am going to get up around 7 and walk over there and see what the line is like. Because I have no idea what it'll be like, so really I think we'll just have ot play it by ear.
