Dunno if anyone can answer me this or not, but on both the X&Y and Speed of Sound covers they have these stupid squares and dashes of colour and I was just wondering if anyone actually knows what these are??

 

I remember Chris saying with AROBTTH the singles were all 3d models of each of the band members distorted in various ways and I'd love to hear his explanations for the current ones...
