Low... starting to grow on me...

Featured Replies

I didn't think too much of this song until I heard it for the first time while I was driving. Now it's turned into one of my favorites. It's happened a lot so far, how I seem not to like a song so much - only to realize how awesome it is just a few hours later :D

Anyways, I just love when the 'spoons' kick in

personally i love this song, when i listened to the radio broadcast, this song hit me first because of the sound it produced, it seems really catchy and i bet would be a great song live :D

That spoon part is MEGA

I think they're even mentioned in the lyrics!!! haha near the end.

I agree, it's the spoons that did it for me - Low is awesome.

i found the whole album grew on me. first listen was so loaded with expectations despite my attempts for it to not be, that after i got over that listen and started to appreciate it for what it is, i began to enjoy every single track ten times more. It's often the sign of an excellent album when the first listen doesn't really hit you but then it just grows and grows until you find it awesome. I expect a lot of people to be changing their minds in the weeks to come ;)

And yeah, the spoons part of Low is fantastic. How anyone dare to say Coldplay have lost the feeling is beyond me. I watched them on Johnathon Ross' show and then watched Jools afer and the difference between The Coral and Coldplay was lightyears. Even New Order, for me, failed to convey even a small degree of the passion that Coldplay produce.

It's just an album that takes time and lots of listening to get used to. Mind you, I liked Low the first time I heard the live recording, I was dying for a song a tad louder, like Yellow or Shiver ;)
