Chris' comment at the end of the Coachella performance..???

Featured Replies

I already posted this in the live forum, but I figured more of you would be hanging out here...so here goes..

Has anyone else spotted Chris' comment at the end of the live Coachella recording after the brilliant track 'Fix You'

Unless i'm very much mistaken he says...

"Be positive about the world, there's only three more years to go"

Has anyone got any thoughts on what he might be getting at...?!?

?

Until their next album...

Chris is, like that

Sometimes when hes signing stuff he writes "Christ" and claims it was a mistake.

...yeah, the Bush theory seems to be a good possibility...

- However, it is quite amusing when you google "the end of the world" "2008"... that does seem to be the most common time for most of the predictions... not that I tend to take much notice of all that stuff - afterall if any of the previous stuff came true we'd have all been dead and gone along time ago... :D

Its definitely the bush theory...I agree with him.. but i really don't like it when musicians and other famous people meddle in politics...it just bothers me for some reason (maybe because their musicians not politicians...)

Everybody's essentially a politician in democratic settings, in that they have their own opinions. I understand the annoyance with some people stating their views, but I also think the annoyance is misdirected and pretty useless. Everybody, including musicians, have (and are entitled to) an opinion even if you or I or anyone else thinks they're wrong. Just because we hear their opinions more loudly doesn't mean they shouldn't express them. Not flaming, just saying :)

it's about george bush

yeah i thought it was bush as well. first thing that popped into my mind actually.

Bush has 4 years left.

You are right!

from wikipedia: "George W. Bush's second term as President of the United States began at noon on January 20, 2005 and is expected to end with the swearing-in of the 44th President of the United States at noon, Washington, D.C. time, on January 20, 2009."

If you round it downwards then Im still right

So he was describing something else people! unless he got it wrong too.

the world ends in 2008' date=' didn't you know?[/quote']

:o

I was wondering when some yokel would take it seriously.

Hey there

***imagining asteroid hitting Dubya's ranch in 2008*** :o

Uhhhhh hmmmm I WONDERED WHEN SOMEONE WOULD TAKE THAT seriously

:uhoh:

 Gneiss save Reilly

Nice use of sizes too

Well, the next election is in 3 years, right Reilly? So that theory would still hold true.

If chris got off his ass and stopped messing around with CD WORK and just posted here we'd all know a lot more
