June 2, 200521 yr So if that's the cd I guess it's safe to say the inside will be navy with green letters. Hmm. Nice, I guess :)
June 2, 200521 yr I question that as the final disc design. EVERY Coldplay LP has been in black, with the Coldplay logo and album name, and WITHOUT the tracklisting. I would be sort of sad to see that change. Plus, I hope that anti-copying crap doesn't show up on the final releases, because I want to be able to rip it into iTunes for my iPod when I get the album.
June 2, 200521 yr wasn't parachutes brown....? is it navy? :o if it is...I WAS RIGHT! looks black to me though...
June 2, 200521 yr meh.. if thats the actual cd.. I'm not impressed.. but the logo is on it! :P I hope its better than this pic lets on..
June 2, 200521 yr Strange how there are songs listed as X1-6 and Y1-6, is that supposed to represent something?
June 2, 200521 yr Author im wondering if the X tracks and Y tracks are grouped that way for a reason or if its just there to compliment the album title. hmmm... ill have to look over the lyrics.
June 2, 200521 yr From Wikipedia: "According to lead singer Chris Martin, the title X&Y is based on the ups and downs of his everyday life. Martin says "My whole day is a mixture of optimism and pessimism in its most extreme forms. And that’s what X&Y is to me. It’s two sides. I like the fact they’re very strong letters, very clear." So X are the optimistic songs, like Square One, What if, Fix You, Talk..etc and Y are the more pessimistic tunes like Speed of Sound, Low, Hardest Part, Swallowed in the Sea. The two sections represent the two sides of the album!
June 2, 200521 yr Author i remember reading an article in which chris explains that X&Y means the uncertainties of life and that everything may not have an answer like math problems (hence the x and y). Maybe they are separated into two different uncertainties he and the band have in their lives??? i might be totally talking out of my ass but im just speculating.

Anyone can edit that therefore we really can't know if it's true; unless it's backed-up by a link or something. SoS is not really pessimistic...Chris has said that it's about disasters and miracles and things that are so fantastic that we can't understand them. Nothing pessimistic (nor optimistic) there. Also... Fix You is not optimistic. I don't believe everything I read from Wiki.
