I think that this song is one of the best ones in the album.... It has a very good rythm and melody... What you think?

I can't get into it. It's my least fav on the CD. Sounds sort of 'pop countryish' and too polished. But that's my opinion. I'm not dogging anyone who likes it.

 

God knows I like some songs that others would just as soon wipe their butts with.

the hardest part and twisted logic we the only songs that I hadn't heard at all. When I heard the intro to THP, it took me back a bit, but I love the lyrics. Somewhat simple but so moving. Definetly one of my favorite tracks from the album.

I totally agree. When I first heard "clocks" after listening to A Rush of Blood to the Head, I got the same feeling. After listening to X & Y, I felt the same about the Hardest Part. Great tune.

Why all you say that it´s a countryish pop???.... It has a rythm totally different respect the countryish pop... totally different I think :wink3: Maybe Shania Twain....

I agree, the lyrics are great, the up tempo piano is wonderful and I truyl hope they perform it live this summer.

i love this song... but it definately has a different feel than the other songs... more of a AROBTTH with a tempo upgrade and some swing thrown in there... the guitar is beautiful

I don't know why not that many people like this song yet... it's getting to be one of my favorites on this album :)

This song is my most FAV on X&Y, LOVE IT! LOVE IT
