I really think we should have the drums tracks first' date=' then everyone can download them and play there parts along. Otherwise we are just gonna end up with a horrible mess. even if we record at the tempo of the originals its still wont end up right, trust me. Its just far better if we get the drum tracks first.[/quote']

true...that is y ia m still uploadin soundforge7 it needs till tommorow to finish it is 191 mb :S

after i do i will post it

do u play any instruments?

well, yes, guitar (or bass) and I can play a bit of piano and keyboard.

If I had more I could probably play them too :P

I have tons of software and mics I record with so I will be fine that way.

My brother 'Gas_Man' is an awesome pianist and he can play all the colplay stuff no probs.

so ' date=' who has the drums done?[/quote']

eddierofl is the drummer here that is y i uploaded soundforge cause he requested it,

and guys we need u and david aswell to help out :)

bass guitar cool we certenly also need that

TA DA! I have Politik, In My Place, GPASUYF and Trouble done, they are ok. They recording quality is not to bad, I really wish I had a mixing board so I could record each drum individually then make a final mix, like the pro's do. I also dont have Ken Nelson here, so they sound rough.

But for single channel it turned out ok. Don't mind my screw up in the middle of GPASUYF :embarrased:

LINKS TO COME WHEN I UPLOAD SOMEWHERE!

eddierofl, that is awsome man :D

i uploaded soundforge for u, there u can mix and do wt ever u like :)

and alvaromorales23, wt can u play and record for us?

Whoah, this is very MEGA what you're doing :stunned:

did you find out how to record a acoustic guiatr?

if your acoustic doesn't have an output then you need to stick a microphone on it.

An if you are using a mic you probably want a XLR to> Jack lead....you might need a standard jack to> 3.5mm adapter depending on the inputs you have on your computer. (thats IF you are recording to you computer, which you probably are)

did you find out how to record a acoustic guiatr?

yea i asked the stores today

u need to buy a mic that stick to the guitar (it is small but pwoerfull)

it costs about 20 euros

wow that uis cheap, do you no what it is called?

ah right, so you actually want one to attatch....

Like this http://www.zzounds.com/item--AUTAT831CW

its a miniature cardioid condenser mic that mounts directly on the guitar with an adjustable clamp adapter.

Another approach is to use a wide-response cardioid condenser mic on a stand or short boom with the mic pointing at the bridge of the guitar. If ultra-close miking is needed, avoid placing the mic too close to, or directly facing, the sound hole to avoid a "tubby" sound.

can you get a direct cable (like eletric guitar) with an electro acoustic guitar?

I have emailed them to Ian ([email protected]). So I guess we just have to wait for him to put them up.

where will Ian post them? :/

I got 4 songs but I don't know when I'll get round to uploading them, will have to be a zip as well. If you can get them up on rapidshare in the meantime let me know
