Richard Ashcroft/Cologne/Setlist

Featured Replies

Hi there!

Apart from discussing the background music and the quality of Kettcar (you have to listen to the lyrics carefully!)

*It has nothing to do with the lyrics - I didn't like their "sound". That's more important than anything.

could you please be so kind and post the Coldplay set list for Cologne? Unfortunately I couldn`t make it there yesterday.

*Been asking for it myself. I don't have it - I was too busy enjoying!!

@Kokser2000: yeah...meant jonny :P

as for Kettcar, I found their lyrics pretty clever actually.

I couldn't even re-construct the night's set if my life depended on it.

All I know is that they opened with "Square One" and then they played "Politik"...and after that I got distracted by my singing-along

Yep, their lyrics a kind of philosophical. I didn't even know Kettcar until I saw them at Rock am Ring 2 weeks ago.

Hehe... I still remember the complete set from 2 years ago, when I saw them at the 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head Tour' and I did sing along as well and I was partly drunk. I mean actually I can't sing so there had to be something that made me sing and don't care about how it sounded. ;)

*That sounds like a quote from Wolfgang Petry or Victoria Beckham!! :P :lol:

I don't know any of Victoria's songs but I'm quite convinced that my singing is at least as good as Wolfgang Petry's... even without alcohol. :P

But I'm still looking for a set list. On that page you can take a look at the set lists for the KOKO gig in Camden and the Olympia show in Paris. Compared to those sets were there any big differences in Cologne?

Btw. on the Eins Live web page it says Jonny played piano on one track. Which one was it? Do you remember that?

Well done! Where did you get it from??

Believe it or not. I'm used to type the song order into my mobile phone while they're playing. Just had a bit help from another forum with the first two or three ashcroft songs.

I'm surprised you were able to break your concentration enough to type in your mobile, but - well done!! :P

great idea with the cell phone! with my luck I would have started to dance around and dropped my cell phone...but big YAY for the setlist. Maybe the blurred memories in my head will start put themselves into an order at last.

nope. Was too high but that's rather off-topic :P

@Kokser2000:

Thank you for mentioning Einslive! I haven't even checked their site for info. Googled yesterday to see if anyone reviewed the concert...no luck tho. At least now I have some pics.

However, Will did play on the Piano and it was more than one song. I know for sure one of them was "'Til Kingdom Come"

I don't think eBay has anything to do with THAT sort of "E"!! :)
