Anyone heard of this German artiste, I can't download his music at the moment. I read some music review saying that some of his stuff sound like sigur ros'? :huh: Just kind of curious..

I really like him... unfortunately he is nearly unknown in Germany although he comes from Berlin. Sad thing.

Anyone got a link to the latest album from him?

He's a genius. I adore his music so much.

There are Sigur Ros references in some of his songs, in 'Cold Wind Blowing' and in 'Help me' but his music actually sounds more like Nick Drake, Aqualung or Tiger Lou.

There are a couple of MP3s on his site www.maximilian-hecker.com and on www.myspace.com/maximilianhecker. His new album is apparently leaked but if you like him, please buy it and the albums before.
