it was mad getting into work, luckly I work near the airport not in the city...

however the place they are going on about is about 10 minutes from where I live...

it was a little surreal this morning as people were walking the streets when they should have been on busus...

I will be going to this protest march if I can... there has been loads of attacks on muslims :( unfair

trust me.... I know exactly how you feel.. (speaking on the surreal bit) we went thru pretty much the same here 4 years ago with 9/11... except not everyone can walk into work.. especially if you live on Long Island or Connecticuit or New Jersey and travel into the city to work.. a lot of people didnt ride the subways or the railroads for fear that those were targets.. and if you drove in, you had to leave extremely early because they was a police checkpoint at ever crossing into the isle of Manhattan.. You had to travel with 1 or more passangers in your car in order to be allowed into the city... Just a big hassle really....

as for your bombings.. last Thursday.. I did notice there was hardly any traffic here... I guess a lot of people were scared to travel as well.....

yep I was scared too... I think that why I was so upset !

as they were syaing in the letters pages in some of the newspapers today, its all very well saying Londoners were brave getting back on the tube, but for some of them there's no other way to get too work. so whether you're frightened or not you'll get on the tube if you want to get to work

no need to be scared... just be cautious... you do grow acustomed to it.. trust me. ;)

its one of those things I've lived with since I was 14 and first went shopping in M'cr city centre. there was always the possibility of IRA bombings, it wasn't til 4 years later that one actually happened but you were always aware it might happen.

no need to be scared... just be cautious... you do grow acustomed to it.. trust me. ;)

well I hope not for too long... I am starting to take it personal
