spanish bands...i like new spanish bands that use to sing in english more than in spanish like: clom (they also sing in french), second, lazarus cracker and fantashide.

others like:triana, the best rock andaluz ever made; manu chao, maná, santana, malú, nek, miguel bosé, m-clan, alejandro sanz, jarabe de palo, victor manuel, luar na lubre (a folk celtic band from galicia) el ultimo de la fila and celtas cortos (because are from the city i was born) and some old bands like los brincos or los bravos (i use to confuse them) that used to sing in english sometimes i think and los inhumanos for funny moments; and the only flamenco music (that people use to relate to spanish music..) i like is vicente amigo, niña pastori, paco de lucía. :D

but i'm not a very very big fan of spanish music and more the new bands i don't know why...

i like some bands like bloque, celtas cortos, carlos santana, triana, i used to like some manu chao songs...

Laura Pausini (She's Italian though :idea2: ) whatever she sings in spanish too :idea2:

i never heard about belanova and fase... but yes pausini and tiziano ferro are italians but use to sing in spanish. :)

 

They are really good! I like them a lot... :D Belanova was recommended to me by a friend. I was telling her about Fase and she said "Oh, you are probably gonna like this band" and sure thing, I did :lol: :D

 

and I do like that song of the Gasolina :lol: :D

i do classify reggaeton as a genre----what else would it fit into????---but then again, i dont know much about music-------im just into whatever songs i like--i dont care much for what genre they classify as :P

Yeah, I think Reggaeton is a genre too...you can't really fit it into R&B and hip-hop... :thinking: the beats are different.. :thinking:

i love cuban music like buena vista social club, sierra maestra.

I also like Nueva Trova like Silvio Rodriguez- beautiful lyrics the Bob Dylan of Latin America in my opinion but with more musical range.

Latin Jazz, Brazilian music.

 

MOST of it really except Jennifer Lopez and stuff like that .

 

And i love the way \Melbourne Band - The Cat Empire incorporate Latin Rhythms
