You can be trusted. I had to get a restricted license for my first year and then when I turned 16 I got my real license.

ohh i see .... well the chavs we have around here .. i can just imagine them drving about when there 15 smashing into lamp posts .. think i'd be scared to walk on the path

  Yeah, The Chavs sure do sound like a bunch of twats. We have the same thing over here.

I had no lessons. Driving is a natural thing. I'll admit that I was nervous when faced with real traffic situations but the more you drive, the easier it becomes. I know why you're worried but it will be ok. Driving's a blast.

well, my fater was a bus driver for over 30 years, and i didn't get much of his talent, so i wouldn't call driving a natural thing. :P

 It's true but there are different driving environments that make driving more dangerous. Like driving in a busy city versus driving on the open highway.

  I would not want to have you behind me on the highway.

lol i'm not worried ... just will be a while before i do pass my test .. can't believe you had no lessons though ...you must have driven around a lot with your parents!

Yes. My dad let me drive on the side streets of my neighborhood for a year before I turned 15.

Honestly---it only took one day for me to learn how to drive-------i always observed my dad drive and move the wheel so when i first got on the drivers seat-----it kinda came naturally-----the next day---i took it as far as 30 miles from my house----but unfortunately the car stopped cause it didnt have gas :P

wow :stunned: that is quick .. but surely you have to practice the co ordination with your hands and feet and learn to get everything flowing when you first start .. its not just a programmed in your brain type of thing

 you hadn't learnt to look at the petrol dial though :P

no---i didnt have to practice much---it all came easily to me----i didnt even understand it myself :P

teehee, once i almost ran out of petrol myself. first lesson, on zebra, and i almost knocked over my schoolmate :P then, at some other occasion, we went to the gas station. and erm, yes, the car was diesel, and i stopped directly in front of "eurosuper 95" sign :P
