hi! Does anyone know about the OTHER japanese bonus track? i don't even know what it's called, but allegedly there is a bonus track on the white version of X&Y that is NOT "How You See The World." Anyone know about this?

as for the new Japanese version of X&Y, the one with the white cover, I found this...

 

according to amazon.com it is just a "lower-priced" new prining of the album. looking at the tracklisting you'll see that the bonus songs are the same... TKK/HYSTW. Twisted Logic is now Twisted Logic Silence. This may be of note (a new version) but i more then likely a typo.

but... according to this ebay auction (no I am NOT the seller) they claim that this printing has a brand new bonus song on it which has replaced HYSTW. Notice they go to great legth to hype this up... but never tell us the name of the new song. That seems strange to me. I suppose they could have heard the song, but not being able to read Japanese, could not give us a title. Again, I am not the seller on this item.

Im not sure why they would take off HYSTW and put a new song on. add a couple more songs for a special printing... sure. The ebay auction states it was taken off all together though ad you gotta wonder why. That would be like them putting out a UK version with SITS taken of and Proof tacked on. Bands dont change up tracklistings on albums too often as far as I've seen. It could be different in Japan though for all I know. When all is said and done I have to go with the amazon listing. If anyone has any or info I'd love to hear it. There is also a listing for this item on amazons Japan site in case anyone can help out with reading that.

Hi there, from what I read, the tracklist is the same as the regular 'blue' cover, with none of the bonus tracks.

 

I couldn't see 'Pour Me' anywhere.

I have the original blue Japanese version of X & Y and it does list 'Til Kingdom Come' on the back cover and the obi....

 

....however it does not list "How You See The World"....

 

....on the CD 'Til Kingdom Come' and 'How You See The World'

are one gigantic track that is 11 - 12 minutes long with about

a 2 minute space inbetween the two songs....

so what is the name of the song that we have the link for on rapidshare?

I believe it is How You See The World.

Didn't Parachutes have Japanese Bonus Tracks too? I think I read somewhere that "For You" was one and that there were like 3 or so.

Most Japanese versions of albums have bonus tracks. Usually the Japanese bonus track is the b-side from the first single. Sometimes it is the b-side from a later single. There have been only a few instances that I know of where the Japanese bonus track is not available elsewhere, but these instances are what make the Japanese editions sought after (for me anyway). How You See the World will probably show up as a b-side of the 4th single (if that's the case, I have a like-new CD of the Blue Japanese version of X&Y that will be available ;) ). If anyone buys the white version, please let us know what the bonus track is! If I find it in a store I will buy it and let you all know. I have a feeling that if it's not HYSTW, then it's another b-side. I think that the guy on ebay is trying to rip us off, and that he knows it's a track that everyone has and that's why he's not posting the name of the song (I emailed him and asked about the song and he was very evasive).

Japan Bonus tracks

 

The Japanese version of the "PARACHUTES" album has 2 extra tracks (not including 'Life is For Living') - "For You" and "Careful Where You Stand"....

 

....The Japanese version of "RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD" doesn't have any extra tracks....

 

....and "X & Y" has of course "How You See The World" and the rumoured Bonus track on the 2nd Japanese release("The White Cover') is "Pour Me" live from Hollywood bowl ('Fix You' B-Side)....

 

I guess only time will tell what the White cover's bonus track really is. I would have gotten it except for the fact that I am not ready to shell out another $25.00 - $35.00 dollars for the Japanese X & Y if the Bonus track is the Fix You B- side "Pour Me" live.

 

Besides, I already own the 1st Blue Covered Japanese release and I am actually Very Happy with it....A Perfect Album with the Perfect Extra Track....

 

....Now if the extra track on the new version of X & Y were to be a studio version of say 'Moses' or 'Ladder to the Sun',....that would be a different story!
