^Same here. I think it's much a cleaner, smoother version. It's hard to explain, but it seems less 'noisy' than the album version. I think this mix turns down some of the guitars in places, and brings out some of the separate rhythms in places also. I like it better than the album version.

Yep, she comes in at about 2:44 singing the 'oh, ohs'. She does sound a lot like Chris in the higher notes, which is probably why you couldn't distinguish her.

Yeah, definitely! I think these songs are brothers, even without the rest of the album/ep. I love them both, and I think that even though I put NMFWTTG in the 'Death And All His Friends' category, there is also something in this track that is uplifting, like the narrator is finally free of the war/conflict that's been hinted at. The narrator in 'Death Will Never Conquer Me' doesn't seem ready to deal with death yet. He's like the younger brother, or younger version of NMFWTTG. I like that he talks to the 'boys', too. I think too much, but I love the imagery and storyline of the pieces in the Vida era. Incidentally, the lyric itself opens and closes the EP in LITii and NMFWTTG

Thanks, valypan. I couldn't get out today to buy it, but I'm still not sure where I'm going to do so, as I have the option of Japan also. I'm counting on the Japan release to have a bi-lingual lyric booklet. I'll probably end up buying one here and one there!

Lovestoned! Ahahaha! That's brilliant and needs to become one of the My Moods :D I've played the entire EP about 4 or 5 times now, and I've stopped now, cos I want to savour the newness for as long as possible. It's HARD. I'm going to try and write a review soon.

Yep, I definitely see some kind of narrative and common theme happening here more than ever! It's interesting, and I hear new things every time. I love it, but Coldplay REALLY needs a LYRICS PAGE PLEEEEEEEEESE!
