french food markets there?...

i think we don't have those things, at least in my city....

well there are some shops run by foreigners, like people from Morroco, and so they sell their tipycal food. :)

why?

Because as everyone knows, "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain...............":P

It's normally one day every couple months some French people come over from France to set up market in Andover to sell fresh French food and some other French items.

It gets confusing when you ask for a pound of stuff

is not for that, is 'cause my area is on a drought since decades... :(

our area don't have regular periods of raining... when uses to rain is only from the last week of september and the first of october, and it could rain all the day during 3 days or so... then it causes floodings...

Is that because they have no idea what quantity to 'and over??

Since when has Spain had a Monsoon climate?:stunned:

oh sounds interesting :)

definitelly we don't have things like that here... at least the products are not sell by them... i mean we have products now from almost all over the world on supermarkets...

in my city there are markets too, but each day they are in a different neighbourhood, the one that is closer to mine, is on Fridays, i used to go there very often when i was a child, now i don't go there that often... but they sell lots of things, mainly clothes, shoes, and food.

my area does, i don't joke... we study it at school, we call it Gota Fria, (Cold drop)... many storms came from the north of my country so when the clouds arrive to my area don't have rain... so when storm come from the south (Argelia), is when rains.

i told you we are in a drought since decades, our main river is know as the most dangerous river in the world, because to be like dry, but when rains that hard, it floods. a century ago one of those floods killed at least 100 people or more...

Where is this?:stunned:

yes a nice place.... although i like a place that is very near the sea, is really like a town (athough officially is a neigburhood of my city), that place is called La Azohia, i hope i can buy a house there one day :nice:

I really was born in this place, and as my dad is from that city, i have family living there, like my grandma, and i use to there as often as i can.

My mom's family is from the south, there live my aunts and uncle, and i use to go there often too, as is closer to my city than Valladolid, in fact this city is in my area.

we also have watermills here... :)

the village seems to be relaxing, may be too relaxing... :uhoh:

It's quiet at the moment, although during the day the railway station gets busy with cars.

oh it must be noisy

Not noisy for me, but as they are too many cars for the car park, you get cars parking all over the place.

And South West Trains won't make the carpark bigger, because if they did, it will be bigger than the car-park at Andover railway station and will mean Grateley Railway Station will be considered for an upgrade to make more trains stop. (The main problem is that car parking is a lot cheaper than in Salisbury&andover)

i think that car parking areas is a big problem today everywhere... is so difficult to find a place where to park the car in my city... even in my neighbourhood too, as next our block there's a factory, so many workers park their cars in our neighbourhood...

Ouchy.

Salisbury has a park & ride which is good value for money, Andover & Basingstoke has large parking areas.
