We talked about the women thing in school today...my teacher said once people understood things in the wrong way and now it is like that...actually the religion doesn't say that!

A lot of the islamic ways when it comes to equality of women might seem wrong or even barbaric to the european countries. Where the viel is concerned some women where it because it is part of their culture. But some women actually where it because they see it as a fashion accessory.

 

Of course i can not really speak for other things. Dont want to upset anyone. Some countries are just further behind then others. A lot of the islamic countries are behind. In the form of equal rights. Just like Britian is behind Germany when it comes to Work Cues. ;)

The veil is done to protect women rather than oppress them. Also, in the religion, it says that a woman should make a choice whether she wants to wear it or not.

In our lesson we were just asking ourselves why women are neglected when the koran says evrybody has the same rights....
