August 22, 200520 yr I am still recovering from the ending. It was incredibly intense. I love that song that they played. It is called Breathe Me by Sia Fuller. This was one of the best pieces of film that I have ever seen. I will certainly miss this show very much. Here's a toast to a magnificent show!!!!
August 22, 200520 yr I think it started in 2001. It is the best drama on television.ever.period. The first 4 of 5 seasons is out on DVD. I know you would fall in love with this show Justine ;) Oh, and welcome back :)
August 22, 200520 yr Thanks... it's good to be back! I was tempted at times to watch it..but it was on cable or something and I couldn't.
August 22, 200520 yr Yes, it was on HBO. I think you can rent the DVD's of the series at Blockbuster. The show was written by Alan Ball who wrote the screenplay to American Beauty.
August 22, 200520 yr aww, I can't wait to see it. ...I'm only at the middle of Season 3 at the moment. :embarrased:

This was one of the best pieces of film that I have ever seen. I will certainly miss this show very much. Here's a toast to a magnificent show!!!! Isn't it sad that we are the only ones that are somehow emotionally sad about this? You people are missing out on the Best Show Ever Made!!!! :P I am still sad and crying about it! The ending was the best episode they ever made :stunned: They endend the show with the heads held up high :nice: I didn't like how they killed Keith though :/ But the rest of the episode was just INCREDIBLE  Claire's death was just so beautiful  I guess it's true that we are all going to die...I just, sometimes forget that I am mortal :stunned: Oh be my friend, Hold me, wrap me up, Unfold me, I am small and needy, Warm me up and breathe me......... PS: When is the dvd coming out? August 25? I think I read that somewhere..do you know? :idea2:
August 22, 200520 yr Hey Josceline. Good call with adding Spolier to the thread. I did not sleep well last night. All day I have been thinking about the episode. I was crying like a little boy last night. It was a truly magical finale. I talked with other people at work who saw the episode and they said that they think that the last 10 minutes was all in Claire's mind. That she was imagining that to be what would happen to all of the others. Now, I firmly believe that the last 10 minutes was a true representation of how the characters would all meet their ends. I was thinking about my own mortality last night too. It was both sobering and inspiring. I don't know when the DVD of this season will come out but I know that season 4 is out now. Well have a good night Josceline and I'll chat with you later
August 22, 200520 yr Yeah I thought I'd add it 'cause I wanted to talk about the ending and other people coming in who didn't watch the show would just ruin it for them ;) I also cried myself to sleep last night  :D so it's allright ;) I don't think the last part was Claire's imagination... I did think that's how they all died..There's no way she could have possible known how Rico would died.. I liked how she ends up marrying the lawyer and him coming to Keith's death or mom's death (I don't remember which one it was) and I ended up missing the first 10 minutes of it..AGAIN! :embarrased: Hey, do you have the song? I also liked it a lot. It went so well with the ending.. [/url]
August 22, 200520 yr I'm glad you think so too. It was too real for it to be Claire's imagination. It was so beautiful and brought me to tears. When they did a close-up on Claire's 102 year old eyes and then faded to her present day driving down the hgihway was powerful. As was David seeing the young Keith right before he died   You didn't miss anything important in the first 10 minutes either. I'll upload the song. I have two versions. Do you want them both?
August 22, 200520 yr Yes, it was too beautiful.. I was also crying  awwwwwwwwwww :nice: I can be sentimental sometimes too... :idea2: :P Hey, was Maggie pregnant or why was she at the doctor or where was she when Ruth called her? And yes please upload the two songs, thanks ;)
August 22, 200520 yr Damn Josceline. Great catch there. She must be pregnant then. WOW. That flew right past me. I'll upload the songs in the next 5 minutes ;)
August 22, 200520 yr Here you go Josceline. The first is the original version that the show used. However it is not as extended as it was on the show. They edited it that way. The second version is a really nice electronic remix. I've got to go now, Enjoy and I'll talk to you later  :D http://rapidshare.de/files/4265585/Sia_-_Breathe_Me_original_version.mp3.html http://rapidshare.de/files/4265713/Sia_-_Breathe_Me__Mylo_Remix_.mp3.html
August 22, 200520 yr Damn Josceline. Great catch there. She must be pregnant then. WOW. That flew right past me. I'll upload the songs in the next 5 minutes ;) Oh God! I can't believe you missed that! :P It seemed like she was waiting to see the Doctor or something... It looked like a waiting area (I know 'cause of all of the times that I've spend there! ) So you don't have the extended version they did? Thanks for the songs ;) D/ling right now :D Thank you, thankies!
August 22, 200520 yr That version was edited just for the show I'm pretty sure. The first version I posted up is the one taken from the show. It's all good. ;) Take care
