Gwyneth teaches Apple yoga

Gwyneth Paltrow is teaching her baby daughter, Apple, yoga. The healthy-living actress, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has bought a book called 'Little Yoga', which is specially aimed at teaching tots the limb-twisting exercise.

Gwyneth - who is a huge fan of yoga herself - loves the book so much, she has even agreed to provide the voiceover for a DVD version of it. A source revealed: "It's a sweet little book aimed at getting small children into yoga. Gwyneth bought a copy for Apple and absolutely adored it, so she was keen to help out any way she could."

The Oscar-winning actress once confessed she relies on yoga and a strict macrobiotic diet to maintain her healthy lifestyle. The star admitted: "I eat weird health food, exercise and I meditate. I do yoga every day and I no longer eat sugar or wheat." Some people think it's weird and extreme, but you have to do something weird and extreme to balance the fact that you're living an extreme life."

Because I thnik it's exaggerated if a mother teaches her child yoga.A little child should do what every little child does.

oh well... I don't think she teaches her the proper yoga:) It may be something very soft :)

Well, Gwyneth doesn't look like Madonna ;) Apple is 1 year old... I don't think she practises yoga every day at the same hour. I think, and I really hope, it's more a game :)

I don't know, by the way, never watched that dvd :)

I think yoga is good at any age, just like vegetarianism :)

So if she doesn't teach her too much then it's ok...but she shouldn't exaggerate it!

Do you really think daddy Chris would let her do it ?;)

  • Author

really ? Chris doesn't look like a stric father... at least this is my impression. If Gwyneth'd exaggerate, I think he could tell her to calm down a bit.

can be...but sometimes it seems to me as if Gwyneth is more dominant!don't know why!

yeah, to me, too. But Chris seems a person who really takes care of his child... maybe he could be "passive", but he will definitely have his say, when it's time...

I only saw gwyneth in movies... don-t know what kind of person she really is

I think its kinda cool that she is teaching apple yoga. I think its a good idea for little kids to be involved with something when they are young. ANd this is just gonna help her be more flexable when she gets older. I will say Gwyneth does seem to be a little more domanint. ( But so is my mom) I think Chris will put apple in her place if he needs to when she gets older.

The book is called "Little Yoga" and it's specially made for children. It's obviously not some rigorous excercise. I think it might be good for Apple. If she likes it as baby she can keep doing yoga as she grows and if she doesn't, she'll drop it. But it's nice that she's being exposed to it, nothing wrong or extreme about that.

lol i posted an article about it on apple religion and gwyneth threads :dozey: nobody sees my post nah :/

Thats kinda cool  ,i'd love to do yoga!! :)

Yoga is cool...its not really strenuous in general, thats the whole point of it. It's relaxing, which will be good later on in Apple's life i guess seeing as she will be in the public eye 24/7
