The END of ALBUMS....Surly Not!!!

Featured Replies

Ok i was at work this morning listening to the radio (capital fm) and they were saying that albums could become a thing of the past!

I KNOW! :( :o :stunned:

Warner are looking to start a new trade, buy not releasing albums with 10 songs or more on them once every 1/2/3 years but have the artists make small SINGLE type album things, with 3/4 songs on and to be released every few months. :/

Ok i think this is such a shit idea, i like my albums, i dont want them to stop. You can tell they are doing it just to get more money out of us, they will end up being about a fiver each or something, so what we would get for about a tenner we have to pay 15 even a SCORE!

So what do you all think????

Bastards! They just wanna get more money!

Anyways, I don't think it will work...

I can't see artists wanting that to happen either

so they won't really make money off it

Bring back record players!!!

^lol...i love my record player...but i would hate for this to work! I dont see it taking off myself either, but you never know in this crazy world...

STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED

Single type rcords with three or four songs..like an EP :idea2: yes.

Monthly though? No one would accept them, unless perhaps they were priced at around a pound.

I'm not ok with the idea but sometimes waiting so damn long for more material can be hard.

True, but I'd rather people took ages too release very good material than releasing any old crap every few months.

But some bands have an immense wealth of music I am sure that they could release.
