on the topic of love and hate...i agree with Jewelee that you have to experience both to tell what both are..

so i think love cannot exist without hate, in so many different contexts.

i consider the topic of hate to be a tricky concept, in that you could hate something and consider that to be passionate.

i also think, well speaking from my own experience, if you lose someone you were in love with because they totally break your heart, there are many stages that you go through in the process to get over them , and to begin to function properly again without them i think hate must be one of the processes, because it helps the "getting over" process..
