I'm currently looking for some good new Prog-Rock bands after I discovered The Mars Volta, who I got to like very much. I read about 'A Perfect Circle' on Wikipedia...

Could you upload one or two good songs for me, please? That'd be very nice :)

And one more question: Are their albums concept-albums?

okay, i'll upload some songs ... just have to out them on my computer first ;)

the only concept-album they've made is eMOTIVe.

it's bout peace, war and all that stuff...

you can also see thirteenth step as a conecpt album.

it's basically about drugs or other emotional addicts and how to get away from them. the songs are written from different perspectives (a friend, the addicted one himself, people who don't understand/wanna help)

A Perfect Circle is great. However, they shouldn't get too political. "Passive" is the only good "political" song, in my opinion. I just can't wait until Tool's new album comes out, I've been waiting for soooo long!

Yeah I like tool better as well, such a great band. Yeah that's what I hear, and I think they're playing at some festival in Europe this summer. So, good things to come.

His voice is amazing, it's so powerful and he's definitly an awesome song writer. Lateralus is probably my favorite Tool album. It's much different than what they did before it. I love that song too.

ha yeah i know what you mean though. Like in Judith, I think Maynard's voice is so powerful. But in songs like Parabol (not Parabola), is voice is chilling.

So.....I made a big mistake..... There have been a lot of spam threads lately, and I was going through deleting them all, and I accidentally deleted the original 'War of the Coldplay Songs' thread which had over 50,000 posts. I feel very very very bad about it. What might it be like? The lyric video is nice but I would have loved to see Coldplay attempt a music video for it. It's not unusual for songs as long as Coloratura to have music videos - Blackstar by David Bowie had a great one - but usually they're larger in scope because of the length of the song. I'd like to think something along the lines of Up&Up's video would work. But or course that's already been done, and very well. Does anyone have any other ideas?
