a lot of my friends have weird looking characters which they spell their name in - does anyone know how to get these?

 

also does anyone have any cool emotions or coldplay related display pics for msn?

i don't understand it too, because i have the last msn version and it still show me strange characters with no images on it... i though it was some images that they asociated to some characters (yo know what if you write there (k) appear a lips/kiss image).

 

may be they are using msn plus.. i never tried that one..

I can help you with the strange characters... Go to the Start menu>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map. From here you can find all the fancy Unicode characters and copy-paste them into your msn name.

 

And yeah if someone is using Messenger Plus! they might have some quite strange random letters in their name - this is because they represent colours, but only those with Messenger Plus! can see them.

there are also some random codes that you can do with numbers and the alt button that'll give you some weird ass character.
