I am one of two Coldplay fans at my school. Lol,i even tried to do the X&Y art work for my sketchbook. Came out well..

Ill be totally honest and say..I didnt like Coldplay when i firstheard them, I thought they were boring! :stunned: :dozey: I know, disgrace! I dont know what was wrong with me. I think i liked harder rock then and didnt really give them a chance. But as i listhend to them more i fell in love and now i feel stupid remembering i didnt like them lol. But i wouldnt worry about haters, everyone have opinions, theres are just silly ;) :P :D

Dont worry, ~Jadey~, you werent the only one!!! I hated them at first too! I was only young, 12/13 when they 1st came out and i also thought they were boring, never even gave them a chance. Then when i heard AROBTTH it all changed! Thank god my mum converted me!!! :D :D :D She has great taste!!

Good on ya, for appreciating totally fantastic music, these guys are fantastic musicians and that is what they are recongnised for and not just been 1 hit wonders like some of the crap these days :D

I have loved Coldplay since they first came on the scene and love them more and more each day, for their music, their beliefs, their personalities and their reasonable approach to the critics out there that slate them so much :smug:

Yep. A friend I had made me listen to one of her pop/rap CDs, so I did. "Listen to this! Listen to this!" So I did. All of it.

 

Then I had her listen to Shiver and she winced! WINCED, like it sounded fingers on a chalkboard! She took the headphones off right away. That pissed me off. But whatever. She can go back to listening to Hilary Duff and that other crap she likes. Psh.

Don't you think it's odd that certain artists out there are commended for wearing bling and supporting really useless causes and others, namely our Coldplay, are bashed and called pretentious and whatnot because they support fair trade? I find it amazing that they're doing something so great for this world and yet they're ragged on because of it!! Sometimes, this world is so backwards...
