If I was going to get one I would have one something like this...nothing too complex...just nice and simple.

Yeah I was only thinking of it like this because I find shirts with pictures or dodgy transfers either fade or peel off over time but I'm sure we can do something good!

I hope it gets decided on soon, because althought my concert isnt until 14th Dec, i am going away to South Africa for the whole of November and would ideally like to have it done before i go so i dont have to do it when i get back :/ .......what are people thinking its going to be/what is every1's fave t-shirt idea so far?

im liking the simple one...we will avoid problems with that!! and its cool! but i think we have to add the username of the board and "www.coldplaying:com or something like that

wow, guys....i leave and dont come back for 10 hours, because im sick and you already have shrit ideas :stunned: ....can anyone explain to me what is the deal? are we going to have like a special logo and our names?

I like the idea about the shirt keeping it simple w/o a picture and our user name and the website on the back or something like that. But thats just my opinion.

Joanna :D

That T-shirt above would be perfect as far as I'm concerned. By keeping it simple it would keep the production costs down, too.

And yes, our screen names and the website address could still be added in smaller lettering............................................. :)

Oh, yes - for anyone who doesn't know already, my name's Mark, by the way! :)

Hi mark---i always confused you with aaron----

my opinion is---if we want a picture---to avoid copyright problems--we could use one of our own pictures taken---a picture from someone in the board

also---i would like our usernames in the back with the website of CFU (not coldplaying) and in the front--maybe a photo---with "Coldplay Fans United"

or if not a photo---maybe a drawing---or a logo that symbolizes "You've found us"-------or a part of lyrics of a song :P

I'm not convinced about the photo idea as I think it could make the shirts seem too "jokey".

And IS there a CFU website?? If so, what is the address??

Otherwise, I'm sure something like "Join us at Coldplaying.com" would suffice........................................that would help the board at the same time. :)

Thanks - but I think that address is too long to put on a T-shirt. Coldplaying.com would be much easier.............................

yeah true...and it is kinda where it all started....

Yes - I think that Coldplaying.com deserves the recognition for giving CFU the platform in the first place.

There's no reason why it can't remain a part of the board - there's no reason for there to be a split.

We all met on HERE, after all! :)

I agree! If it wasnt for this board there would probably be no CFU! I think thats a good idea, i really like the look of the simple t-shirt too.

Well I reckon we should go with the design as it stands unless anyone has any major objections.

Then it would just be a case of getting a prototype made up.

It would always be possible to add another design later if there's enough demand, anyway.

Why not set the ball rolling?

Anyone want to volunteer to have one made up and then model it on here??

hold on...i like the simplicity and everything, but to be honest I don't think I would wear it...I would wear something like this though...are we aloud to have multiple designs?

I see where you're coming from, but the idea behind the yellow shirts is the "song" connection and the fact they would stand out - you would be able to spot a fellow member easily in a crowd.

A black and white shirt would kind of get swallowed up in the masses.

I just think it would be cool for the band to look out from the stage and see a sea of yellow shirts if this takes off.........................................it would be like when you support a football team and everyone is wearing the same colour! :)

However, as I said before, there's no reason why there couldn't be more than one design.

You could have one trendy shirt for all occasions, and the yellow one just for concerts/official get-togethers, perhaps?

For those into running etc., we could even get sporty shirts made up.

And we can all sing:

"We want you, we want you, we want you in the CFU"!! :P

^Haha! I like both the designs....the 1st is more striking and would get noticed/we'd spot each other....but the second is more wearable etc. Hmmmm im stumped!
