Hey, errbody... As you can tell, I went to The Band's concert last Friday, and I think I took some pretty nice (slightly blurry, but hey, you can still tell what it is) pictures and put them up on my Xanga here:

Amazingly, none of my friends care about this. Well, except one or two. But the majority of my friends have absolutely no interest in Coldplay at all, which really surprises and yes, saddens, me.

 

So, I decided to come to a place that DOES care about Coldplay to share my pictures!! Going to that concert gave me so much hope that there are other fans out there... the center was PACKED! I'm sure the Dallas show was more than Sold Out. It was pretty wild. So, you can understand my dismay after a concert like that-- when not a single one (ok, maybe one) of my friends gives a care!!

 

Anyway, the point of this post is to show you some pics from the Dallas show, so here they are! Only a few, but you get an idea of the atmosphere. ;)

Haha... Not only do I like Conan, I also went to one of his show tapings in NY back in 2003!!! And my neck, arms, and midsection were all on national television! *gasp* He's so incredible at improv- lightning quick! What you see on the show is exactly what it's like to be there. You have to get tickets more than 1/2 a year in advance now... he's gained so much popularity since 2003. :'( So, if you ever go up there, really plan ahead! A free Conan show is definitely worth it.

 

I'm hoping in a few years when Coldplay is legendary and all the "hot" bands (from now) are on the backburner... my friends will realize we Coldplay fans were really listening to worthwhile music, afterall. Coldplay sticks around.

 

Oh yeah... MFFL... I notice everyone's standing in your pics. Haha... I'm not sure if you're in the pit section, but I didn't realize EVERYBODY would be standing the entire concert! I know I did.

I LOVE Conan...back in 2003, i met mike reiss (one of the producers of the simpsons and a friend of conan) and mike told me that conan is one of the most intelligent, funniest, and sweetest person in showbiz.
