gentleparachute
Question for any Australians out there... Can anyone help me? I'm going to get a mobile next year... My dad suggested that I buy one from my home country before getting a SIM card in Australia and activating it there... But I heard the general practice in Australia is that the phone will be provided together with the network service so I don't need to get one. Can someone explain to me how it works please? :D Thanks. Sorry if it sounds weird or anything... <-- Neubie to all things Down Under :P
heartswarm
if you buy in Malaysia, it has to be an open-lined phone which is more costly than getting a phone package in Australian network service which is sim-locked. I think you should try the phone package since it's cheaper and you will be assured on the compatibility of the phone and sim-card/service.
