Is there a presale for each and every date, or just a select few?

Alright, so this presale stuff is confusing me (and some of you, as well). Under 'ticketmaster help' it says:

"Occasionally, some events will be available to purchase over the Internet in advance, before they go on sale to the general public. These presales frequently require a password that may be distributed by the:

• venue

• artist

• team

• promoter of either the event or the presale"

So...do we get a password from coldplay.com or what?

No, the presales through ticketmaster are perks for certain groups (e.g., AmEX card holders). I believe AmEX is offering a presale, which means you have to an AmEX card, purchase your ticket with said card, and occasionally have a password which you get from the customer service # on the back of the card. It is totally seperate from the presale offered through CP's fanclub/website.

^ Me too :( Not even all the shows are listed on ticketmaster....*sigh*"

Coldplay is causing my unnecessary (or very necessary, frankly) stress.

Seriously. I think my blood pressure is going waaay up.

This is going to be the most insane weekend of my life, with all the freaking out and planning I'm going to have to do.

Seriously. I'm absolutely stressed out with all these concerts. I have to convince my mom of letting me go to all these Coldplay shows, plus my U2 ebay thing ends in a day and I need to bid and I have to convince her THAT'S ok, then I have to tell her I need to stay out of school again to get tickets.

And to put a BIG FUCKIN' RED CHERRY ON TOP! I get my report card tomorrow. GREAT TIMING.

:bigcry:

I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. Couldn't Coldplay have done this NEXT week!?

Ok, no AmEx card for me! But there still is a presale thru cp website? Does everyone who is registered on the site get at pw? I'm sorry if this is supposed to be general knowledge, but I'm really clueless here...

I think the password will be supplied by the official site..... you don't need an AmEx card to purchase the tix or to receive the password.

Awww... man.

I just looked at my venue's seating. Ugh. If we get bad seats, we'll be even farther back than we were before! And we might be BEHIND the band!

Ohhhh.

undefinedYes, I believe you are correct for the official CP presale (for which they have not yet announced), but AmEX is also doing a presale starting on 11.14 for cardholders.

Can I get double double presale with an AmEx card AND a coldplay.com member password??

:wink3:

The Palace of Auburn Hills is a basket ball court (pistons :D ) but, I dont understand how it can be made into a concert thing, seeing how the seating goes around..

I saw a rodeo at the palace, and it seemed like no matter where you where sat, you could see very well..

But I dont want far away seats, lets hope the crowds better then DTEs crowd :dozey:

im totally gonna "borrow" my dad's amex card.. :sneaky:

I can't take this anxiety..... :stunned:

I think I'm goin' craaaazy.

niether can I..

Im fantasing that my parents will secretly buy me front row seats, and suprise e with them on chrismas..

I dont want to deal with all this confusing stuff.

I feel really crazy right now. Because I'm honestly making myself sick over this!

And tickets haven't even been REALLY announced as to a presale! Crap. I'm going to be a mess when they DO go on sale.....

Oh, Mandy, I read you talking about the front row prices in another thread and stuff. I just didn't know if you knew that the "front row" stuff is actually GA, the pit in front of the stage? Where there's no seats or anything, you just show up as early as you can and get whatever spot you can take. So GA is probably the cheapest, most likely around 70 bucks (maybe 50? I don't know, that's how much u2 GA goes for   )

I don't remember what you were asking, but yeah. I hope this maybe solved some questions?

the same way they convert Madison Square Garden.... they remove the hardwoood floor and put seats on the floor level leading up to the stage which is usually located on the far end of the 'would be' court. ;)

My plan for sat.19th..

Wake up early..

go to mall,

pick up check.

run across street as fast as I can..

run back to the mall..

run full speed into Marshal Fields,

Go into the ticketmaster..

demand the best tickets 110$ can buy.

and if that doesnt work..

goto bank,

get bank account..

get debit card..

deposit all checks into the bank account..

get an eBay account..

after I save up 900$ buy front row seats off of eBay.

They shuoldn't go for that much on ebay. I saw 2 GA go for 210. Never higher than 400, and the general price is around 300-350.

Good luck, though. If I end up with seats I'll be doing essentially the same thing

Do you mean they just set up a stage at whatever end..

or do you mean they just put a stage in the middle?

im baffled..

lol
