Ok this is going to be a bit of a long story.

 

Right, at work yesterday i told my team coach that i was going to need the 17th off because im going home to see Coldplay on the 16th and ill travel back on the 17th just to come back and work for my last 3 shirfts plus over time that they have asked me to do. He said if its coldplay that a no then and i said oh well im not going to be here anyway, meaning im not really asking im telling (which prob didnt help my situation)but He said that should be ok and i was like great, also my friend is going with me and she wont be here either. He said yep ok, talk to me about it tomorrow.

 

So...i go to him today to remind him and he makes a big deal out of it and says...well....... BOTH of you are not going to be here and i was telling him why AGAIN and he said OH. He went off and then came back and asked what day again, went off and came back and asked for my reason again then came back and asked me and my mate to follow him. I thought i was going to have to feel a sheet out or something but he sat us down in a room and said the following,

 

'well i dont know what reed told you when you signed up for this job, but you werent aloud to have any holidays as its only for a month and its too short notice for me to find anyone to cover your shifts.'' So i told him that reed knew about it cause i told them in the beggining. He then replied

 

''well I dont know anything about it but im going to have to tell you if your not here for your shift on the saturday then dont retearn as we will be releasing you.'' and he smirked at us and i thinki he thougth we were going to beg for our jobs or something, but we were just like ok....cause we're not going to miss coldplay for a poxy job and we were laughing when we went back to work.

 

But im so angry about it, his doing it prob just because he doesnt like coldplay and cause well there are a few things that could be the reason but i am just so angry :angry: :angry: :angry:

 

i know this is so long and im sorry you dont have to read it, just needed to get it off my chest :P

 

but i really need the money

All bosses are assholes. They tell you one thing one day and tell you something different the next. At my old job, they always scheduled me during times when I TOLD them I had classes...what morons!

well know what im doing...im going to go and see coldplay. Cause i would have only been going back to do three final shifts cause the job ends just before xmas anyway. But its the fact he said it was ok then he changed his mind. Plus i was going to be doing alot of overtime that week after and its ALOT of money im not getting now...but im going to see coldplay

im just helping to promote them by doing some basic stuff...like make t-shirts and badges and flyers and stuff. Plus im putting on a thing for the students at my uni in the union one afternoon were they can hear the album and win signed copies of the bands singles and albums and that. Plus im flyer the streets of where i am too and getting places to put up posters and when i go out im getting to djs at places to buy the album and play it, plus getting them to check out the website.
