Cold play at Austin City Limits

Featured Replies

Just a quick note- saw the taping last night and Micheal Stipe Joined Coldplay about 30 minutes into the show and sang about 4 songs, 3 Coldplay with Martin and 1 REM.

They taped for about 1 hour and 45 mins.

Chris martin came back after the show and played have yourself a merry christmas.

The place was packed they even had the Hogg autorum next to the Austin city limits building packed with about 800 big wigs.

The show airs next saterday- Dec 17th- They will have to cut it down to 1 hours though so should be interesting.

Soryy in totale they played like 16 songs or so.

Man you are so lucky :) I would have loved to attend the taping. I'm really looking forward to seeing it on tv..

What was the setlist?

What Coldplay songs did Michael Stipe sing on?

Just saw the 1 hour version, I wish we could get the full concert somehow.

I went to the VH1 storytellers (coldplay) back in may, and they played almost a full concert but obviously they didn't show everything.

I saw the show on the tele and it was wonderful. They only showed Stipe playing In the Sun and Night Swimming...I wish they would've showed Chris singing Have Yourself a Merry Christmas, but oh well...it was still great of course!!! :)

I also watched this, in HD! But it was only an hour long. :( Looks like they had to do some cutting. BTW the fans didn't look that into it though....
