it was a bit nerveracking... but ive had worse ones...

Ok... im gonna tell a pwetty story :nice:

 

Today, mariana gets to the hotel for a nice and quiet day at work...

haha... i wish!!! when i got there i found out that the power had been out for most of the afternoon, we had no phone, no internet, no managing system... pretty much chaos on earth... things couldnt get worse... or maybe it could :thinking:

 

about 15 minutes after i got there... the power goes out again... like... BAM... and we are all in the dark!!! a 29 floors hotel with no elevators working!!! we couldnt make keys to the guests that were trying to check-in coz the key is eletronic... THAT was chaos on earth!!!

 

What to do in that case?? well... i could get desperate, nervous, cry, scream, run... BUT i made jokes!!! :P Guests coming in, kinda afraid to get close to the front desk... but, as there were candles everywhere i was like:

"yes sir, please come... its our new hotel policy: 'lets make a romantic check-in', etc". Yeah, it worked... but thank god the lughts came back quickly, otherwise ppl would be mad not being able to go to their rooms...

 

buuuut... even after lughts were back and things seemed normal, the freackin telephone wouldnt make long distance calls!! God... today it was an annoying night... for everyone...

 

ok... done bitchin about work here... :P

there was sort of a comotion at the lobby at about 11pm coz ppl needed to make long distance calls and there was just no way, so people started coming downstairs coz they were pretty desperate...

I actually gave my mobile to 1 or 2 guests so they could call coz otherwise they wouldnt have anyone to pick them up at the airport... one of the ladies was like: "but...but... this is YOUR mobile. please tell me the hotel will refund u for these calls..." so cute :nice:
