I'll pitch in with the swearing part... I'm fluent in spanish swearing (and we have a lot  )

*a hem* isnt it ' los unidos estados'? not 'la unidos estados'?

Hola! Mi nombre es Reuben. Vivo en La Nueva Zelanda

2 years of spanish with crappy teachers

wow...your spanish teachers must really suck

i'll teach you if you want.

The basics:

hola, soy (name) y vivo en (country). Pretty easy, right?

http://spanish.about.com/

Hello, i know it's not that easy for english-speaker people to learn spanish, though, there is an excelent website on the Internet that can help you to understand a little bit more which are the differences and similarities between these two beautiful and very practical languages (of course there's nothing like learning from a tutor, so, if anyone is interested, i'm available, we could IM, my MSN contact address is [email protected]).

à bientôt

lol, i mean, Hasta Luego!!!

Lesson number 2:

Vivo [con mi/mis]______ (whom ever you live with, padres for parents,hermanos/as for brothers or sisters, sola for alone)

I live [with my]____(parents,brothers or sisters,alone)

It's getting a little more complicated isn't it?? :o

don't worry, once you get use to it it's really easy and it's a really useful language

^^ Sorry been away for a while...ok your lesson 1:

Vivo mis padres = I live with my parents

Can you please correct me if i'm wrong :)

Hola!

que pasa!

como estas............ :/ :/

correction

vivo CON mis padres is I live with my parents

but you've done good!!

Hola!

que pasa!

como estas............ :/ :/

Written correctly is

¡qué pasa!

¿cómo estás?

you can always say... Hasta la vista baby  <--arnie style haha

It's not that complicated, take note. :stunned:

(Yo) soy, estoy = I am

(tú) eres, estás; (usted) es, está = you are

(ustedes) son, están; (vosotros) sois, estaís = you are (plural way)

él es, está = he is

ella es, está = she is

ellos son, están = they are

ellas son, están = they are (female version)

nosotros somos, estamos = we are

nosotras somos, estamos = we are (female version)

And gets a lot more complicated if we add tenses. :o There must be like 12 tenses in Spanish.

(Tú) estarás, serás, estuviste, fuiste, eras, estarías, serías, has estado, has sido, habrías estado, habrías sido hubieras estado, hubieras sido... etc

(vosotros) estareís, sereís, estuvisteís, fuisteis, habéis... etc

Who ever said Spanish was easy

it is not hard, but it has many rules, I guess..

mh...

Tengo 26 años y vivo en Mèxico: I`m 26 years old and I live in Mexico :)

SINGING SOFTLY TO ME:Zu
