Okay, this past fall I saw Coldplay closing out the Austin City Limits Festival and it was phenomenal yadda yadda.

 

Anyways, I remember slightly from the time, but before they came out, like 5 minutes prior, they started playing rap music. I mean, the drums were up, the piano was set up they had the instruments all tuned and all of that, and they were playing rap music haha.

 

I thought it very weird and now I go back and listen to the recordings and there it is, clear as day. They're playing rap music! Then Coldplay come out and it's melodic and beautiful, but they played rap music beforehand through the speakers.

 

My question is did this happen at any other Coldplay shows that anyone here has seen? Thought it was very funny.
