how early to line up?

Featured Replies

How early do you line up if you have GA tickets? Just curious...

I suggest at least 2 hours before the doors open.

I was there at 4, doors opened at 6:30.

But Of course the pit only held about 100 ppl. So most showed up much later.

Maybe check how many are in the pit first. then decide!

haha, the two gigs in December I went to I queued for 8 hours and there were still a couple of people there before that. But then again, I had nothing better to do :(

^^^ oh yeah that is definitely a whole different situation.

thanks for the advice! Three years ago, I came four hours early and still got a rail spot. But for the U2 concerts that I have been to, I alsways spent the whole previous night, and there was still a person or two in front of me

:D :P

I came to the concert area ~1/1,5 hour/s before the doors opened - stood around, had some beer with my friends for an hour at a mobile bar that was set up near a passing street - and after the doors opened (there were actually two entrances you had to pass) and I entered the concert hall I was in the 7th-8th row or so which was close enough for me ;P

So eventually I spent about 30 mins in a queue (maximum).

That's way better than being in the queue for like 8 hours - at least I think so ;)

we went there around 12pm, lined up around 2pm and made it to the 2nd row. that was in germany, though... ;)
