Well.....in Germany there is the new TV show "Germany's next top model" hosted by Heidi Klum.....this show unleashed a controversal discussion here in Germany....because they tell mayn girl they are too big/fat although they are soooooo skinny.....many people critisize this here.....even the candidats of pop idol.....now the newspapers are full of those discussins.......I think those shows are stupid......superficial.....and I think the girls there get psychological problems after it and during they take part in it......what do you think?About this discussion and the topic in general?

well, since i'm german, i completely know what you're talking about.

 

first of all ... all those girls that sign up for that show know what they got themselves into. they know that they would have to listen to many harsh critics ...

whatever.

many girls are very self-critical. they can't stand the way they look and i guess everyone of us feels like that sometimes. but there are also a load of girls who just quit eating because of these shows.

 

 

model shows are quite stupid anyway and i never liked heidi klum :D

I watch the US and UK versions and they crack me up! It's entertainment is all.

 

And most of the girls appearing on the shows do quite well out of it, whether they win or not...

Well, i didn't see the german version but i like america's next top model. I think if those girls want to be in the fashion bussiness they have to take the consequences that come with it. We all know they're beautiful and skinny,it sucks that fashion standards are so strict but that's how they are and they have to suck it úp if they wanna make it
