but it's all showing up again..and i want them to hurry a bit. do music.

i couldn't have said better, Zorana ... do music.

i think The Hardest Part was chosen as a single in November-December (and maybe not by Coldplay...) and not nowadays...and that Coldplay don't like it,it's obvious.they don't play THP at the gigs, maybe they're protesting against their label (EMI)? i think they do...

only a thaught,don't take seriously

Why everybody dont like THP?Its not so bad...

yeah..thanks.

i'm in radiohead phase now, and i read a really great advice that one member of band gave to Thom (singer) after he started having kids and became all worried cus of the lost time (cus of music) ..and he said how he should do the best music he can and that will be the gratest cure for all the bad concince for missing out. so he can say that he did a hell of time while missing out. so his kids will know. get it?

i think this is the main problem right now for all of them (in coldplay)...and one of the main reasons for all this break-up talk.

I have to say that it suprises me each time I look at a recent setlist : they almost never play The Hardest Part..! I mean, they certainly like it a bit, because they decided to put it on the album, but they don't like it as much as their other songs, and it's certainly EMI who decided to release it as the 4th single. It is easily " cutable " to make a Radio Edit, not as Fix You, which I almost never heard on radio, compared to Talk, who is broadcasted about 10 times a day !!

well..both fix you and talk are on the radio regulary when their time was. they even put low few times on my local radio. and i was so

lucky you ... i can tell you that i heard Fix You not more than 10 times within a few months and that I hear Talk more than 10 times a day !

they really over played Fix you here, both radio and TV.

I think THP initially got a bad reception in the US so that kind of put them off it. It's not a bad song. But it's not their best work either. THere's nothing really special about it apart from the "I could feel it go down..." bit. Maybe they just thought they'd throw it out and see how it did. You never know. They could get a No.1 out of it and then we'd be eating our hats! lol

i don't think so. i'm more for the whole company conspiracy thing.

I meant the record company. But they're just so stupid that they don't realise what they're doing. All they think about is :dead2: :singer: = MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A-holes

yeah, but coldplay takes good credit for it too. way too scrambled in all commercial system.

btw..Fudge..i went to your place in "my space" and noticed that you have a degree but not a job for it..where do you work?

ooh did ya? thanks! Did you add yourself?

I work for an insurance company:\

You love Carlos do you? My friend LOVES Interpol. Like seriously obsessed. Bit like me and Coldplay

I haven't done enough work experience really and I'm not sure what I want to do. I would quite like to do Public Relations. But I'll need do go to uni again or college! In london!! But, My most immediate plans for now are to go to Canada for a year!

X&Y and its singles... seems like bottom line for Coldplay. :( :(

Nah, don't give up hope.

well...Public Relations are my wannabe, but i'll try arhitechture next year. How come you must go to uni once again, you don't like what you finished?

Canade...that's so nice...

and yeah i love carlos..and interpol.

My cousin is going to be doing architecture. Thought about it myself! You'll enjoy that!!

My degree was just too general. I need to do something more specific and get some good qualifications to actually do something!

an you're willing to go once again through it all. good job.

as for arhitechture here in Croatia..well they say that there isn't a person who wasn't disapointed with the uni after they started to go. so it's depressing but i wanna try.

Yeah, you just have to be careful what you choose to study. Architecture would be good because you're actually training to do a job. You know what I mean? For example, a degree in History or Maths is too general unless you know exactly what you want to do and get some good work experience.

yeah i get what you mean , on our UNI's if you pick math you're gonna have to pick more specific part of it on your 3rd year and you'll get a diploma.as for histry..you have to do magisteryum in it, 2 more years if you want any specifications but it's pretty known what you can do with your history diploma in Croatia.School, some institute or stay as assistant on Uni.

yeah that's the thing with general degrees. Quite often to make a good career from them you need to become an academic. It sucks! They shouldn't be encouraging people to go to uni. It's just a waste of 4 or 5 years and gets you into a hell of a lot of debt!
