The X-Files

Featured Replies

anyone else a fan??? I loved and continue to love this show... I recently got the entire 1st season on dvd... and its mega!! I love Moulder!!

Loved it when it first started!! :smug: Somewhere at my Mum's house I have the first 2 books which explained all sorts of stuff about the series. missed most of the later series when i started working though :\ Did see the film with Ian.

i love it! wondered where's a thread about them :uneasy:

first time i saw X-Files was 10 years ago when i was 6,woooa that was awesome!

i remember i played Moulder and friend of mine was Scully  hehe

but to be honest i don't like the latest episodes with new agents...older episodes are much better in my opinion

The X Files is my all time favorite show.

I really hope they get working on that 2nd movie!

Mulder is smoking hot being all smart and crazy and I was serious about becoming a medical examiner/agent because Scully was like an idol to me.

then I realized you had to go to school for at least 10 years....( well I am still heading into the medical profession)

I seriously blame/credit my obsession with science and paranormal things to The X Files. I just wish I could afford the DVDs. lol I just watch some of the old ones that I taped every so often. Season 5 was my favorite. I wasn;t too into it when Mulder "ran off" but the last epidsode was fantastic.

the early ones are the best... the movie pretty much ended my obsession with the show because after Moulder left and that other fool came in, with the other lady agent.. it lost its original flavor... so, you didn't miss much. lol Once they started filming in LA, it changed. I loved when they filmed in Vancouver...

brand new it's like 100$ per season but we have some used x-files dvds (full seasons and the dvds are guaranteed) at work for like 30 dollars :uhoh: so tempting AHH!!

really?? I got the first season for $40 at Target...... I've seen it before for like $80 so I nabbed it.... I want to get the whole series..

they released the entire series in a boxset over here at Christmas. its £199.99, which I never have spare ever!! even if it does save me £150

And a really random question: Why is the US equivalent so much more expensive? Its usually the other way around. According to amazon.com the US boxset is $809.99 which is about £500!! The extras lists are the same so it doesn't look like you get way more extras!!

 WHHAAAAT!! thats bananas!! $800 USD!! Jinkies.. lol Maybe thats why my first season was so cheap... it doesn't have many extra extra features??

:embarrased:

Its one of my all time fave tv shows, but it lost is appeal when mulder went, the guy brought in to fill his boots was no way a match for him, and the other woman wasn't good either.

I watched the first episode the other day, still as good as the first time I saw it. Other than mulder and scully looking younger, it was like it was brand new to me!!!

It's amazing that show! teehee I have followed it for years, apart from now of course because the show has ended.

DVD's rock. I don't like Ian being away from home, or having a day off when Ian isn't off, but every so often its nice because I can set myself up in the living room with a girlie DVD or 3!!! Ian's very good, and will watch rugby and other things with me, but he does draw the line at 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days', 'Bridget Jones' Diary' etc!! :laugh3:
