I'm very happy to have found this Coldplay message board. I'm a relatively new Coldplay fan (not quite a year yet). I discovered them while I was messing around with an iPod in a store. "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" came on it, and by the time the first line of the first verse was over, I was convinced I had to get one of their CD's. I tend to think that most of current music is crap, but bands like Coldplay and U2 give me hope for the future of rock n roll. I tend to like mostly 60s and 70s era British rock, and am (obviously) a huge Beatles fan. So believe me that I don't take it lightly when I say that I think Coldplay is amazing. Bands from today have to do a lot to impress me, and Coldplay has done that. I think their musicianship is amazing, they are incredibly unique, their lyrics are simple but I relate to them and they are true and real. I just went to my first Coldplay concert, and I hope that it will be the first of many.

Anyways... just wanted to say a bit about myself, and I'm happy to be here and be able to learn from all of you seasoned fans!:wink3:
