Wow, I'm so jealous! My mate and I plan a huge rucksack trip in 2008 before going to university. We want to travel through South Africa, Namibia (a former German colony) and Sambia. Another friend did exactly the same journey last summer and his photos were unbelievable! But South Africa is very criminal...

I really hope we'll do it! That would be a dream! :nice:

OMG, Steph, do you have any pics?

woah, that sounds fabulous! i'm going to south africa in 2010..for the world cup! :P i've made up my mind and i am determined to go one way or another, my history teacher actually honeymooned in africa and took a safari and said it was the most amazing trip he'd ever taken. i've always wanted to go to africa, so if i can make it before the next WC that'd be greaaaaaaat :D

Lars - I'm sure I have pics somewhere...i'll have to scan them in some time! Although they may be embarressing, I ws 12 when we went!

Mark - it's SO high up there!!! We sat in the corner of the resteraunt, and when you look down out of the window it's a sheer drop...pretty scary. Also the elevator is clear, and goes up the side of the building :uhoh:

Not good if you have vertigo!
