Aww, those 2years will fly by trust me!!! ;)

For 2years at college I was just dying to start uni, then decided to take a year out! But those three years went by so so quickly...I can't believe it's almost here!

About Ophelie...I have no idea :\ I haven't spoken to her properly in a long while now...im not even sure if she's coming to London anymore :(

Hopefully she'll show up sometime soon!

Well, it's not in every disco. The "Stubu" for example in Bremen has 5 different floors with different tastes of music. That's a good idea I think, so the chavs all go to the black music area while the others are going to the rock area.

Thanks for the words. Why did you take a year out? Didn't you have any plans what to study one year ago?

Hm, I only know that Ophélie went to London two weeks ago. Maybe today, I will write her a short message to know what's going on. :\

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. It's pretty strange. :\

I planned to go to university last year, had my room place and everything, but then I stumbled across a site on the internet showing the types of things you could do during a gap year.

I saw the great white shark volunteering project in South Africa, the next day asked my parents if they could help me out to pay for the trip, they agreed, as they knew it was my dream since I was a kid, and the next thing I know im flying alone to South Africa for a month. It was mad! But the best thing i've ever done, im so glad I didn't go to uni now!

Wow, good story. :)

I can imagine how proud you were of yourself after coming back from South Africa. To do something on your own, in a foreign and unknown country... Must be a great feeling. :) Your parents must be very friendly, that they helped you to pay for the trip.

So, the other months you were working or what else have you done in your gap year?

Coldplay stalking??:P

Yeah I owe my parents big time for that...I mean, it was a lot of money and they could have easily said no, but they helped me because they wanted my dream to come true. They rock :nice:

Yeah I did feel quite proud of myself I guess! I was told that the girl before me, and also the one after me, both went home after only a few days because they couldn't handle living alone in such a big house, and the hard work and long hours at sea. That made me feel quite good, and now it's made me worry less about moving out of home because I know if I can make it out in South Africa on my own i'll be fine here! :)

I've done a lot this last year I guess...south africa, passing my driving test, getting a car, meeting lots of new people, going to lots of good gigs and my first festival....holding down a job! It's been good.

What type of job do you want to get into? Do you know what you'd like to study at university?

It seems that you really had a fantastic year. :) Where have you all met new people, expect here? ;)

Hm, the problem is... I still don't know! :D It's the same when I was graduated at school one year ago. I couldn't decide where and what to study, so I decided to take a job here in my city... to earn some money for the university and to have more time to decide what I wanna study.

I can imagine to study something like International Transport Management. My brother is studying that and he likes it, but then you also have to learn chemestry etc. and I hated science at school. ;) I can also imagine to study a language, because I like it a lot.

My English isn't very good and fluently, so maybe I could do a language trip or something like that before going to university. But it would be great to live in Berlin or Hamburg someday. :)

What plans do you both have for today? :)

I've made lots of friends through work - and from here of course! :nice:

Wow, International Transport Management sounds pretty cool! And doing a trip to improve your English could be amazing! (although your English sounds brilliant from what I can tell!)

Lots of people still don't know exactly what they want to do even when they've finished university! So don't worry about it too much....just see where life takes you! :) You've definatley done the right thing in taking time to work and make up your mind...I think too many people rush into things without thinking it through.

whyyy does it alwaayys raaaiiin oon meee??!

hello, helloo! *g*

Thanks so much Steph! :) But I wish my English would be better, although it's enough to take a bus at the airport to Marbe Arch or something like that.

Na Sarah! :) Yeah, it's also raining here. Summer is over I guess... :dozey:

yeah, I don't mind if summer is over... but it could stop raining, pleeaase! kinda depressing
