Esche? You're joking right. Decent goaltending gets you nowhere in the playoffs. Aren't they playinf Nittymaki anyways?

 

I know if looks like I hate the Flyers but I actually like them. I'm a big fan of Knuble, Gagne, and Forsberg.

 

I don't know how long you've been following the Flyers, but Esche led us to within one game of the Stanley Cup Finals in 2004. That was without Forsberg, Knuble, and Nittymaki and a lot of other teams. The Olympics are a bit different than the Stanley Cup Playoffs. And they're starting Esche because of that. He is a very capable goalie.:)

 

I'm a huge Flyers fan, just so you know. ;)

 

If anyone is watching this game, I can't even begin to describe how much I can't stand referees who are inconsistent. It's very disappointing when there is an obvious advantage to one team.

 

It's only the first game though. Hopefully it'll get better.

Tough loss for the Flames last night.

Man...it was an "even it up" play-off weekend. Williams' goal on Sunday was fluky...it looked like a pin ball, bouncing off a couple of skates and the goal post before going in the net. Too bad it ended in a loss.

^ I was glad the Oil beat the Wings. :P

 

There were some good hits, I liked it.

Caught most of the Ottawa/Tampa game on Tuesday. Ottawa was on fire!

 

So Colorado and New Jersey only need one more win to advance. Noticed a poll on the Fox Sports website. It asks which of these teams will be most dangerous in the play-offs: Devils, Sharks, Avalanche, Flyers, Rangers, Mighty Ducks. The Devils are leading the poll.

Well it looks like I am going to lose all my Dallas boys in the hockey pools.
