Yeah and Noel spoke to my mum on the phone one of the times i met him! They are my favourrite band, so i had to meet them. The nicest person i have met is probably Jimi Goodwin and in close second Will Champion!

Wow! You've met Jimi too? You are cool, man. ;)

ahhhh poo i really wish i'd stuck around after the doves show i went to to try to meet them.

We actually met Jimi in McDonalds, he was getting a Big Mac Meal in, he supersized it too! Thats when you know you have made it, you can supersize your meals!

It gets cuter, we then has are meal with him and discussed music, and in particular Ryan Adams wanting Doves to be his backing band, he said there was no chance because "he's a fucking arsehole". Once we'd finished we siad it was really great meeting him, he said it was his pleasure. He then said "My names Jimi by the way, what are yours?" (like we needed him to tell us)

I've done that once. I stayed awake for 36 hours on the weekend of my grad. Not a good idea.... unless you like hallucinating.

Ha ha! You're right. It did get cuter. That was like Robert, Phil and me. The name thing I mean. As if I had no clue who they were. But it was very great of them to do that. I can't get over how nice they are.

the only celebrity i've ever just seen hanging out somewhere or something is allen iverson, who was cluttering up a sidewalk with his entourage making it impossible for anybody else to get by. i'd have to say he's more well known here in the states than jimi goodwin but i'd rather have seen jimi, hehe. plus allen iverson lives and plays in philadelphia... so i guess the odds are pretty good of me seeing him around eventually. oh wait he's not the only one, i've also seen bobby clarke and eric lindros (not together of course). no non-sport people though.

I've seen some hockey players hanging out. It helps that a few of them live by me. Aside from that, I've seen no one just hanging out.

I konw, last time i met Adam he asked me how i was doing. as it had been "a long time since i last seen you" I said to him "you remember me" and he nodded i felt proud!

speaking of meeting celebrities, my dad met al gore (then vice president), tom ridge (then PA governor, now homeland security advisor) and ed rendell (the phila. mayor, now PA governor) on the same day.

Wow! That must've felt damn good! :D

maybe you had some hideous pimple or something that made him remember you. :P

or he remembered you for being so dashingly handsome. :P

i think my rather fetching hat might of brought back the memory, plus we spoke for about an hour the first time we met, so that might of helped too!

everybody remembers a good hat. :D

all right it's gotten to the point where i'm taking medicine i don't need just because the box says it will make me drowsy.
