it's definitely a different version. i just noticed the length of the song and they are not the same. the old version is longer than the one that's up on iTunes right now.

sorry for the inconvenience ;)

i'm not sure what your question is? which version are you comparing to iTunes?

Are you talking about the version that was mixed up with "The World Turned?"

it's possible to have a rapidshare link to download pour me itunes version?

The only verison of pour me (labelled as poor me) is the live at hollywood bowl from fix you.

but some of us wrote that this version of "pour me" that's in itues it's quite different from the original taken from Fix you single :O

Hope It's Not Too Late ; Into A Place Can't Relate

Can anyone post the lyrics to the original version of Pour Me or is it Poor Me, NOT the one on the Fix You single with The World Turned Upside Down???

i thought it was the same as the version attached to the end of the white cover Japanese release of X&Y. ...i'll compare em later tonight.

Okay, let me clear this up. I have here two different versions of Pour Me. The shorter one, which is the version not on Fix You B-Sides, I actually enjoy more than the longer version. 66, this is the version I downloaded off of your coldplay workbook, now where you got it I havn't got a clue. See for yourself, its better quality, shorter, and somewhat different. james.x.y.blunt- go to the main page colplaying.com, there are lyrics for almost every coldplay song there, and it is Pour Me not Poor Me

RICHARD I saw God in the numbers ASHCROFT

How certain for sure is the date 5-31-2003 for the recording of the 'alternate version' of Pour Me???. I really really really presumed Coldplay wrote this song in 2005 :( :( :( x&y was part of the TRILOGY of X&Y b-sides about a particular person :o i.e. The World Turned Upside Down x&y Sleeping Sun.

Actuall the dates is right because I have the show and it is confirmed to be correct. "Pour Me," "The World Turned Upside Down," "Solid Ground," and "Ladder to the Sun," made their first appearances in 2003 on the last leg of the their AROBTH Tour. "Gravity" appeared originally in 2002 a few times as well. It is my humble assumption that some of these songs were originally on the first run of the album that was to be "X&Y" because if you remember an album's worth of material was recorded then scrapped, then new songs we written and recorded, which became "X&Y." Some of these other songs came out in the form of b-sides on the new album.

Gotta do the research man - go to http://db.etree.org

search under Artists and look through some of the recorded live bootlegs. There are so many songs played that have slipped through the cracks over the years.

if you see it then you will understand SOS when you got a secret you got 2 keep it SS

I don't believe the above information. I believe TWTUP, PM x&y SS to have been written/recorded/concieved in 2005.

Check the dates you ignorant asshole.

These are not the first performances, but these are shown to prove the point...

Go fuc*k a dog cos no human would dare fuc*k you. Where the fu*ck did I insult you above you disgrace to SENSITIVE new age guys like thyself (SNAGS). Plus TWTUD drastically changed from your so-called 2004 version compared to the 2005 sessions.

TWTUD was played first in 2003, not 2004 - idiot and no shit about it sounding different now.

Like an IDIOT I run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Being called an IDIOT is a compliment since Coldplay wrote a song using that as a title. You sound elitist in the above post, but who cares cos only 'nerd' fans debate here anyway.

Actually I was trying to help the people out with correct information, then you came on and started acting like a retard. I wasn't trying to be condescending, but you made it real easy when you started talking about stuff you apparently knew nothing about by stating B.S. assumptions as fact - therefore your comments were irratating and worthless. This board is for fans to help out other fellow fans in all things Coldplay, all you want to do is come on here and talk shit. If you go back and re-read what I first wrote, you could see I was trying to be nice and help, but all you wanted was to be a jerk and act like my information was false and that I lied to you or something....please...

Nice song name drop with "Idiot" I'm glad you started researching and READING the Coldplay info that's out there. Now, are you sure they didn't write that one in 2005 too? - lol :(

Blinded & hurting this I’m deserving I’ve got my secret you only got the SLEEPING SUN

Hey fuckwit freeloading bludger. At least I don't direct fans to fileshare x&y rip off our heroes. I have bought most official Coldplay albums, DVDs x&y singles, even purchased their three books: x1 Look At The Stars by Phil O'brien X2 Coldplay by Alex Hannaford x3 Nobody Said It Was Easy by Martin Roach ISBN y1 0-85965-349-8 y2 IBSN 1-903906-73-3 y3 ISBN 0-7119-9810-8. OK I MAY have made a mistake in assuming the Fix You b-sides were conceived x&y written in 2005. But it was a honest heartfelt error. I'm just like one of the fans you said who is trying to find information x&y who's only slip of the tongue was saying I don't believe you. WOW so fucking sensitive. BOY I should sue your ass for verbal assault for no grounded reason.

What are you talking about? I didn't direct anyone to any official release downloads, and I've bought most of their stuff available on CD too - did you want a cookie or something? Sue me? Go for it.
