(Especially the ones with houses)!

 

haha...all this is based on a true story that happened to me this morning at work!

 

Well.......early in the morning my workmate and me have to deliver the bread rolls and breads to those people who have ordered those things....

 

so we were driving down the street and the street was wet......because it has rained here for some days and it is not that warm...

 

therefore there were many snails with houses on the streets!

 

I always knew that my workmate loves animals....

and when she saw the snails she said: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......look there....a snail....awww....a snal with a house...."

and she eluded every snail......man this was horrible....!

She didn't want to kill any of those cuuuute snails with houses...

 

Well....I'm not against animals.....and I think it's important to protect them and nature....but animals like snails?

 

I also know people who elude frogs on the street....haha....I'm just waiting for the first accident to happen because of that...

 

I think it is just too much of protection.....a bit exaggerated!

I always try to avoid snails as well, when I'm out with my bike.

Not really just because I wanna save them, but 'cause it's disgusting having all the "furniture" of their houses everywhere on my bike and myself :sick:

I would collect up all the snails and sell them to a French restaurant. That would be a good way of making a bit of cash!:rolleyes:

In fact, you could do the same with the frogs!:P

 

They tried to do that in Ost Friesland, too - but the snails were too fast for them!:rolleyes:

I try to not step on snails, even thou there are not many here!

You guys must have big snails! :stunned:

 

Around here when it rains there aren't any snails, but all of the earthworms crawl out into the roads to get squished. It's gross.

good to hear...and you have to know in spring the frogs wander across the streets....so there are many frogs on it...I don't know how many I've already killed...
