I use MP3 Trackmaker. It splits (and joins) mp3s and it's hella easy. One just plays the song in Winamp, then pause it on the time you'd like to cut, and the program gives you the option to "Grab Winamp position" and it cuts it where paused. It's great. And Free!

Not to me.. I kinda prefer winamp to wmp.

wmp is alright now

iTunes > Windows Media Player mainly for it's simple to use interface and easy to create playlists to burn to a range of devices.

 

The next iPod will have Wifi
