Did anyone see the stanley cup game last night?? My oh my! Damn Devils. :-x

I KNOW!!!

Your favourite state is sweeping Tom!!

I care about basketball. I was shocked that the Lakers lost. But i don't care...GO RAPTORS!!

Who am i kidding..they suck!!

hahahaha  i dont like basket ball either well as in watching the profs play but it was fun when i used to play it at school!

it does look painfull  well the rough games

With all the protection you are wearing, it doesnt look very painfull to me, but I wonder If it is difficult to walk with those shoes? ( the ones you use for skating and I dont know how are they called)

hehehe... the shoes are called ice skates. for me, skating is the hardest part, cause i'm bad at it, but of course it does take a lot of skill to play hockey *well*, like to get to the National Hockey League. And it can still be painful despite the padding... you are getting hit by guys as big as 6'4, 230 lbs, smashed against plexiglass boards... sounds pretty painful to me

i guess hockey to you is like cricket to me... i've heard of it, i would be able to recognize it being played if i saw a game, but basically it's just a mystery.

p.s. BOO DEVILS  i was really hoping the ducks would pull it off, i would have loved to see paul kariya win the cup, and really stick it to scott stevens. :x

BY THE WAY-- I AM GOING TO SEE COLDPLAY TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Thanks Meggie. Hockey s not exactly like Cricket for you. Here we dont have the pists ( you called them like that?) - the place were you skate, thats why is impossible for me to practice Ice Hockey or Skating

i remember the worst pain when i played hockey wasn't from the boards themselves but from getting squashed into the little wooden shelf that kind of sticks out halfway up where the glass meets the wood.

anyway...

my favorite hockey player of all time' date=' STEVE YZERMAN, oh hell yeah. :D[/quote']

yup, mine too!!! did you see him at the nhl awards last thrursday?? he won the perserverance award, b/c of his knee and stuff. he's so amazing, i love steve yzerman. shanahan and lidstrom won too, yay!!!

i was so upset when the wings lost to anaheim...but i like paul kariya and giguere (and esp. after that hit by the very evil scott stevens  :x ) that's the only reason i was rooting for anaheim after detroit got swept

poor giguere...i really wanted him to win....well at least colorado didn't win the cup and that patrick roy finally retired :D

it does look painfull  well the rough games

AAAAHA!! the red wings being handed their own asses was my favorite playoff moment from this year. :P

(not that it matters because every flyers fan's worst enemy won the cup anyway  )

yes, but try getting slapped upside the face with a stick WITHOUT a helmet on. i think you'll find that hurts even worse.
