June 26, 200619 yr I'm sure the ref was under drug effect or something... Portugal commited 10 fouls and got 9 yellow!!!! how is that possible!!??
June 26, 200619 yr oh serious? wow. so you're saying that portugal should have got 10 yellow cards, not 9?
June 26, 200619 yr I'm sure the ref was under drug effect or something... Portugal commited 10 fouls and got 9 yellow!!!! how is that possible!!?? lol this has been funnier than Italy-USA :laugh3: :laugh3: I was a little bit shocked watching the match yesterday Referees are giving their worse these last days
June 26, 200619 yr I am delighted in englands victory... were gonna beat Portgual thanks to the ref last night..... I hope the Aussies win today,
June 26, 200619 yr GO PORTUGAL GO PORTUGAL!!!! Holland didn't let Ronaldo play. what was that??!! that refreree won't be there anymore... I'm sure. Maybe someone tought him that you give a yellow card whenver you make a fault... and nope dude... that's not like tha buddy!! There's a thing called warnings. You know?? yes... Deco won't be there against England. And yes... maybe Ronaldo won't be ready too. And yes... most of the players have yellow cards but we still can beat England. Yesterday they showed they're organized and they'r together in this, it's a great group. I believe in that against England.

England played very well as a team unit yesterday - that was the most impressive part. Carrick had a very good game. Portugal should be worried!;)
June 26, 200619 yr It seems England's streak of luck aint come to an end yet! But i think Portugal will beat England. To win, luck is surely not the only thing you count on! The Netherlands Vs Portugal game was so shocking! I hadnt expected both teams would be playing with so much violence!

The Netherlands Vs Portugal game was so shocking! I hadnt expected both teams would be playing with so much violence! Every team needs a bit of luck to win a big tournament - it's a fact. But you're forgetting that England also have some of the world's best players and now appear to have a winning formation, too. The fact is that England are still unbeaten without having played their best. THAT is why the other teams should be worried!
June 26, 200619 yr I think it can be a great game. Both teams are awesome. One of the most intense games I've seen was the Portugal-England two years ago. It ended with penaltys. It was great. I hope this one will be as good. I just hope english people stop acusing Figo. He has one yellow card... isn't that enough? Why don't they remember that an Holland player kicked Simao's face and didn't get a red card? Leave Figo alone.

If Simao was deliberately kicked in the face then the Dutch player should be banned, too. That doesn't excuse Figo - two wrongs don't make a right.;)
June 26, 200619 yr That doesn't excuse Figo - two wrongs don't make a right. it doesn't excuse, though I don't think he deserved a red card. But In my opinion that's not England's business. And if they talk about one thing then don't forget about the rest. :P I just don't see why all this drama around Figo. LOL I know he's good and England is afraid of him... but don't worry. Actually I think he's a bit tied... and there are other great players.

June 26, 200619 yr Yes - and they're all banned or injured!!:P Figo's too old, anyway - like Zidane. Time for him to retire!:P Yeah, Figo's too old. Too bad he's one of the greatest players right now in the World Cup.
June 26, 200619 yr i don't think that the matches yesterday were great. there was nothing great at all. england- ecuador i really hope that the english team still has a joker or something ... it seems like they don't have any structure in their games and david beckham should stop throwing up on the pitch holland-portugal what's left to say about that game?

I agree that the match wasn't particularly great, but there are no guarantees. 2. The structure was much better yesterday - you obviously weren't watching very closely. 3. Beckham was unwell, so he had every right to be sick, especially in that heat, and actually played very well in the circumstances. 4. The win is ultimately all that matters.;)
June 26, 200619 yr Yes - and they're all banned or injured!!:P Figo's too old, anyway - like Zidane. Time for him to retire!:P you mean he should retire before saturday!!?? scared are we!!?? I was from that opinion too before the world cup... but I must admit (like you should) that he's playing like he's 20 again!!!

June 26, 200619 yr Yeah, Figo's too old. Too bad he's one of the greatest players right now in the World Cup. well said. It's not like Zidane.

I was merely pointing out that if you are unwell (as Beckham was BEFORE the match), playing in those temperatures will make you feel worse, as it did with him. Therefore he had every reason to "throw up".;)
