I just remembered something SCHWEEEEEET. How when we were waiting when noone else was there and we heard Coldplay songs across the four fields from the stage....hopefully a soundcheck!

Yeah!!!!! God that was amazing :nice:

Hearing the chords for Politik and Yellow at 8.30 in the morning. WOw. I thought I was going to cry, my heart was pounding!!!

I know. Wow. *squeel* :nice:

Righty, im gonna go watch Lost! I'll be back tomorrow night no doubt! Im so hyper, I think im gonna be like this for a long while!

Night hun!

hey, i was lucky enough to catch jonny's camera at iow! had an unbelievabley awesome time with lots of lovely people from this board and others i had met at other gigs. the guys were on top form and made the queuing from 7.30 in the morning worth it! unfortunately having got back and seen my doctor after my foot was in agony for most of the waiting around to see coldplay, it appears my foot got infected by some insect in my tent and so i cant go down to the developers and get jonny's disposible camera developed yet! but when i can walk i will!!!! i would get someone else to do it for me but i dont want to let the camera out of my sight!

anyway hopefully i'll get the photos posted up here soon :)

Hope your foot is better!:\ look forward to the pics too :nice:

:shocked2: Wow! Congrats!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your foot. But if that is the only thing that was bad to happen to ya, then you are truly lucky! LOL and about not letting anyone else get it developed, that's smart! :P Can't wait to see them!

This is for Graham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your nasty rash was an insect bite? Nasty!

It's Carley here, I hope your okay apart from the rash!

Well done for catching the camera! Can't wait to see what pics were on there!

What did you think of the performance?

I was a lil dissapointed! I felt they really couldnt be bothered! Also the paps really did my head in, blocking our view for the first three songs, that was shit!

I still can't believe we ran across those fields to the stage ha ha!

Anyway take care of yourself :) Carley

Hello Carley!

I dont mean to interupt but I am Kara....the girl who had the plaits and the green x&y tshirt on! I still cant believe we ran so far...haha. I do wish that they'd played some more different songs really, but hey. and yeah, I wanted to push the paps off that platform thingy. :veryangry:

Yes that's me.

I think I have some footage of Clocks, so I will try and download it and put it on here. ;)

Remembered that I have it on my phone, so will download some other footage that I have got.

hey carley!

yeh i hope the photos come out well cos i think there shd be a good one of you me and louise hopefully.

my foot looks utterly rank so im glad i didnt show anyone or you probably wdnt have wanted to stand next to me!

also most of the front row where we were got in the evening standard (daily london newspaper for those that dont know) so i'll try and scan it in soon.

i thought the performance was realy great altho chris didnt come down to the front and barely even looked at us. the set list was soooooooooo predictable maybe even worse than other times this year. i cant believe shiver was on the setlist and they played dont panic instead. the photographers were so annoying but not much can be done about them i suppose.

anyway lovely meeting u again......chatting to people around you definately makes the wait (and lou reed's shockingly awful performance) slightly less painful.

my lungs are still recovering from the run :)

Sounds like you had fun getting to the front then!!

I was really hoping to hear Trouble. or Shiver. or Daylight.

But I only heard one song different to Earls court :(

ohhh well.

Graham dude! :) Sorry to hear about the skanky foot! :sick2: Hope it gets better soon! Look forward to seeing the Evening Standard pic & the pix from Jonny's camera! (and you're right not to let it out of your sight!) Was good to see you again! I'll never forget the bordom of Lou fucking Reed and counting down the hours//minutes to Coldplay!

And hey hey to Carley! Thanks for shouting at me to run to the stage! lol! I couldn't have done it without you girls encouraging at me I swear! That's one of the hardest thing's i've ever had to do in my life!

To be honest I was also really hoping for something a little different in the set, not just 'the usual'. Especially with it being the last one for a long while.

I guess they were just trying to please the crowd, and play stuff that everyone would know, not just fans. Cant really complain though I guess, 'cos IMO they put their all into that show and really threw all their energy into it.

So im happy :nice:

.....plus Chris said "great banner" :D :D :D :D

lmao, that's like the highlight of my friggin life now :laugh4:

Plus there are so many people on the IOW board saying how 'their love for Coldplay' is back and many others saying how their opinon of them has completely changed. Makes me so happy to read that. :)

Here is Perfect Day, including the bit where Chris messes up. It is not the entire song though.

Enjoy!!

aw wow that's so great!!!!!!!!! :D Please for ya!

But not about the foot! sounds nasty! Get well soon!

Here are my pics and videos, they're not brill, unfortunately none of my photo's or vids came out very well but the whole day was a brill experience. Winning the tickets was fantastic, and having access to the guest bar was just amazing, I was to the right of the stage, in front of the barrier in the guest viewing area, anyway, here's my contribution - The sound isn't great as I was literally right by the huge speakers!

Video ( I have one more to follow of the whole of In My Place and Fix You but I can't upload at the moment)
