DANKE SARAH! Btw....to this match yesterday.....thanks to the german fans because for this fair behaviour when Figo went on the field......and to the portuguese fans for celebrating after the game....and not for being unfair or something like that....that's cool:cool:
July 9, 200619 yr THAAAAAAANK YOOOOU!!! I've just seen the party at the brandenburg gate and everytime is see our boys ... it just lights up my day!!! i found it sooooo funny when Ballack said:"aaah, i forgot what i wanted to say ... July 9, 200619 yr aha, seems i'm the first non-German to post in this thread!:) Yea, thank you Germany! Danke Deutschland! That's exactly what i wanna say now! As a host nation, you've done a fantastic job! And German's national team plays really differently than they used to! It's a young team, and i'm sure it will be a greater team than 1990! Again, thank you Germany! Thanks for making football more beautiful!
July 9, 200619 yr this photo was taken last night, in front of the team's hotel! :stunned: it's amazing, about 15.000 people were there... from today:
July 9, 200619 yr Thank you so much Klinsmann and Co.! Yesterday in Berlin, I had one of the best days ever! It was sooo amazing! I'm still speechless and can't find any words to describe how great it was! I was celebrating with some English people coming from Bristol at the Fan-Meile near the Brandenburg Gate. We had such a great time and they were supporting Germany. :nice: I'm so sad that this all will end today. :( But I will definitely never forget this tournament, that's for sure!
July 9, 200619 yr Author :laugh4: funny pic lars...hehe... I forgot to say one thing: Danke deutschland (again) for showing what Germany is in 2006 and not for showing what it was maybe 70 years ago.....:nice:
July 9, 200619 yr yep, Germany is great. I think they should win this championship... Two best German (Polish :D) players - Klose & Podolski. :)
July 9, 200619 yr Author Hehhe...thanks Ti...:) yeah.....those polish "imports" ae great...:laugh4: :stunned: What a sig....
July 9, 200619 yr I know that they are Germans, they live in germany for a long time, they play in german teams, they speak German etc... But Podolski said in an interview, that during the match, they speak with Klose in Polish :D have you noticed, that all german players sing the anthem, but not Podolski? :D anyway - in my opinion, Germany was the best team in this championship.
July 9, 200619 yr Author eah...I realised this...that Poldi never sung it....we always said: "Nah...everyone is singing except him!":dozey: hehehe... Well...maybe this is biased now...but I also think germany was the best....or most convincing team...lalaa..
July 9, 200619 yr löl... BUT: he sang a nice version of 'marmor stein und eisen bricht' today... rofl
July 9, 200619 yr he said that he has two nationalities - Polish and German, and he won't sing any anthem. :P
July 9, 200619 yr Author Yes....haha....I also saw this "marmor stein und eisen bricht" thing... Oh...he really said this? Then he is excused...hehe
July 10, 200619 yr I watched the team at the Brandenburger Tor yesterday and I was totally blown away. I'm not German, and therefore it's amazing that I was that emotional! The atmosphere was just fantastic and I loved Podolski and Odonkor singing, these both are definitely best friends :D I gotta say though that I don't think that Klinsmann will continue.. Seems like his family doesn't want him to, which I can totally relate to, it's a stressful job that needs a lot of time effort!
July 10, 200619 yr mhhhh ... like many people on tv already said ... i'd love to catch the whole atmosphere and all the love out there in a tin, which i always open and smell on when i'm down ... lol :laugh3: this wc changed sooooo much and i don't think i'll experience something like that ever again!
July 10, 200619 yr On Saturday I was really proud when I passed the British embassy in Berlin. There was a big sign at the window... "Thank you Germany, it was fab.!" :)
