You're welcome :D

Yep I loved it so much! It would have been perfect if the weather was better on saturday, but what can you do? I mean it is Ireland

I saw loads of bands...erm...the marshalls, republic of loose, jose gonzalez, arctic monkeys, feeder, the strokes, the who, kasabian, maximo park, franz ferdinand, the kooks, pharrell williams, sigur rós, red hot chili peppers and a few more but sigur rós were by far the best!!

What about you? Who did you see?

I saw:

The Weepies, Spinto Band, Jenny Lewis, (Kubb and Mobile, but I don't know who they are, I saw them while waiting for Jenny Lewis to come on?), Hard Fi, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Death Cab For Cutie, The Kooks, Placebo, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand and Sigur Ros.

Basically I can die happy now. How was camping for you? My dad and I (since we came from overseas and couldn't pack a whole tent and all that) stayed in one of those cute PodPads. It was actually pretty quiet around there, and it was great to be able to sleep on a little matress ABOVE the ground. But I was freezing Sunday night. I didn't sleep at all. I thought of the people camping.... :stunned: Jeez it must have been bitterly cold. But I'm sure after so much Heineken it feels like nothing........ :laugh4:

Some people who were camping around the PodPad village (it was in campsite B, by the way) had this crazy recording that kept going "ATTENCION! ATTENCION! AREEEEE YOOOOOU REAAAAAAADYYYYYYY? 3 2 1...." lmfao lmfao lmfao that they put on like every 15 minutes. Thank god I brought earplugs that I used to sleep.......

I could go on about last weekend forever.

WOOOOO WOOOOOO!!! :juggle: lol

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIELLLLEEEEE!!!! :cheesy:

(aka the coolest person on the board! )

Glad you had an amazing time at Oxygen hun!!!

You saw death cab!!! I was so annoyed that we missed them!! :embarassed:

Haha camping was an.....experience, to say the least! We actually only stayed in our tent on the friday night....the car was warmer :laugh3:

Woo finally, someone who stayed in a podpad! I wanted to know what they were like  so they weren't warm? :embarassed: How many did they sleep? Oh we were in campsite B...well for friday :laugh3: and saturday/sunday during the morning to get our drink which we left in the tents

Ah I'm a little bit sad that we missed being in the campsite on monday morning because that's usually hilarious because they play recordings (like you said) to get everyone up and out :P

Ah I can't wait for next year

If you paid for it, you could buy a podpad with two "beds" (with inflattable matresses). They were really nice, but the beds were just so uncomfortable. And there was no heat what so ever. Of course, the sleeping bags we brought were aweful and way too flimsy..... But we had a light!! haha. And it kept everything dry that was inside, which was the best thing about it.

If we had drove, I would have stayed in the car. Definately. Very good idea.

Death Cab was amaaaazing, but I was really tired and sort of in pain during their whole set. I had been on my feet from 2pm that day and hadn't sat, ate or drank ANYTHING since then. So I was watching Death Cab and just started to feel really... woozy. Not a great feeling. But luckily they were so great that they made me forget all about it when they came on :nice:

Oh man, I so want to go again next year. But I actually think that I'm going to go to Glastonbury.... :laugh4: That should be QUITE the experience.

Aw no and they were quite expensive aswell weren't they?? I think next year we'll bring my friends huge chalet tent like last year, it's just difficult and heavy to carry and there's effort to put it up :dozey:

I suppose the podpads fulfilled their requirements if it kept everything dry. We had put all our bags into our one man tent which was meant to be the one which was more waterproof but everything got soaked! Mine and my friends 2 man tent was the only one which stayed dry and I think that was the cheapest one!!! :o

Aww I heard they were good, but started smashing the stage up at the end of their set or something??? I hope they tour here soon :(

Next year, we've said that we're going to bring a campervan and squash about 8 of us in so we can all pitch in to rent one :laugh4:

I'd say Glastonbury will be amazing next year but the tickets will sell out really quickly :(

I would love to go too but if I can't get a ticket I think I might go to Roskilde in Denmark :idea2:
