July 12, 200619 yr http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=ap-germany-klinsmann&prov=ap&type=lgns here's an english source. aw i liked klinsi :disappointed:
July 12, 200619 yr I knew it, they were always saying that he "must talk to his family" - being a coach is a very stressful, time-consuming, busy job and his family must be sick of it. He's got enough money to go back to California and be with his family, it's good like that :) And Joachim Löw is brilliant, he's about the same age as Klinsmann, he has seen his colleague working with the team and he KNOWS how to do it! He's gonna make it :D
July 12, 200619 yr What a pity... :( I always thought that Klinsmann would be the right person to coach our national squad. But the media was against him, especially after the 1:4 against Italy in March. They also had a problem that he lives in California, not in Germany. Well, it's a bad decision for all supporters and I'm really sad about it, but honestly I would do the same... Now we have to play against strong teams like Slovakia, Czech Republic and Ireland to qualify for the Euro 2008. It's very difficult. When we would lose one of these games the media would attack Klinsmann again. I liked Joachim Löw since he was the coach of VfB Stuttgart a few years ago. In another newspaper I read that maybe Jürgen Klopp is another possibility. He's the coach of Mainz 05 and was the World Cup expert at ZDF. But indeed, a very sad day! I'm very disappointed!
July 12, 200619 yr ^ What?? No I don't think so.. He said he wants a half year break now, let's see what happens afterwards..
July 12, 200619 yr Bad news!:( Klinsi is the kinda coach that make you begin to love the German team! He used to be a great player , and he wound be on his way to be a great coach if he didnt retire!
July 12, 200619 yr two years was just way too little time ... :( but the good thing is that our team's coach now is löw. he's pretty much klinsi's right hand and knows all his methods. but i would've loved Jürgen Klopp as well, since he is such a funny guy (loooooved the shows with him!!!)
July 12, 200619 yr I think it is a pity.... But his reasons convince me....for example that he is not pleased about the things going on before the WC.....that many people and the media were against him and stuff..... I think Löw is the best to continue his work...because he is an "insider" because he knows what Klinsi did... I'm glad they didn't choose Christoph Daum for example.....uuuh..
July 12, 200619 yr I dono Team USA really wants him, Im American/German, And i really hoped he would stay with Germany, they are my favorite team, and they actually have a shot, USA has NO chance...i think he will just retire all together

O.o if he doesn't work for german, he will not work for anybody else.
